WIFI was terribly slow
Found some small bugs/flies in bathroom
Bathroom shower had problems, lose hot water knob, pouring hot and cold unexpectedly while in shower
No restaurants nearby, they have their own restaurant but their pizza was bare bones, no taste at all.
Staff is not friendly at all
They say that they should be notified of problems and they will think about refund, I went to front desk and mentioned all above problems and the answer was "all righty" (duh)

Finding the hotel isn't easy: we drove from LA, and after turning onto State 64, we were in the middle of nothing ! As Check-in closes at 9 p.m, and our GPS was acting up, we had to get 'last mile' instructions from the hotel so that we could make it just in time.
Valle does appear out of the darkness eventually.
Our room in the Annexe was cramped (about 3 inches of space from the wall on each side), the bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom was 'cosy'. AC worked fine.
Restaurant closes by about 9.30. so we had to perforce dine before we could get back to our rooms. Food was tasty, portions were generous, service was good natured and prices were just a little beyond reasonable.
The best thing about the hotel is that it is close to Grand Canyon, although in retrospect, I'd have been better off paying slightly more and staying at Tusayan, as that'd have allowed us more time in Grand Canyon.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet- though the wooden deck amplifies the noise of footsteps.

This motel was by far the least expensive I found in the area without being a complete dump. I wasn't expecting a lot to be honest. The desk clerk, Angel, was friendly. The room was larger than I'd expected. The decor had been updated and wasn't too bad. I noticed the airflow from the ac was not strong at all. I pulled out the filter and it was caked thickly with dust. This is unacceptable to me. I rubbed the caked material off in one section leaving the filter along the wall so housekeeping could see that this needed attention. The ac worked much more powerfully as well since it could actually get air through it!!! Otherwise, the room was clean. The ice maker was broken in our building and there were no vending machines as well which was irritating, but again at a savings at over $200 vs other canyon motels I can deal with it.

Stayed in a room off the property. Had to DRIVE to use the pool & hot tub (that didnt work) pool wasn't heated like they stated & very dirty. No ice machine, had to drive to the office for this. No phone, fridge or microwave in the room. Staff very unfriendly. Very over priced for what you dont get

We had a great experience at this hotel. They had availability even though I booked last minute, which is great for a hotel so close to the canyon (about 30 minutes). The staff was very friendly, the food at the restaurant was great and the room was big and clean with comfy beds. The only con was that there was no microwave in the room, but the woman at the front was very nice and let us use the employees' next to the check out desk. :) I would definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff was so nice and the rooms are very big. Breakfast was very good and the swimming pool was very nice after a day in the canyon. Near the hotel is a small supermarket with souvenirs. A ride to Williams is about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel!
