This was the Grand Canyon stop on an epic road trip we took this summer, staying at KOAs and cabins throughout. This was by and far the nicest of the KOAs we stayed at. The kids loved the sleucing and playground, and there were plenty of activities to keep them occupied when we weren't at the park. The souvenirs were cheaper and (some nicer) than at the GCNP. The Cowboy cafe was an overhyped overpriced food truck, recommend skipping that.
The kabins are standard, but was happy to have a heater in the room since Aug is monsoon season and it was cold! Overall this campground was very nice and I recommend it. I would stay here again!More
