We were very pleased with the entire experience. Registration went smoothly. We were pleased with our site. We have a Class B motorhome so wanted to be close to the showers. We found the showers to always be clean and same for the laundry facility. We definitely will stay with you again and have recommended the Canyon Motel & RV Park to friends. Thank you.

We've traveled here before and stayed in the nicely restored and maintain flagstone rooms from the 1940's and thoroughly enjoyed those stays. This time we decided to get out of the heat at our home in the southwestern part of Arizona and stay in our travel trailer. What a fantastic RV park! We have a super spot on the edge of the adjoining National Forest with full hook ups and close to the community building. The building has a community room, washers and dryers, showers and bathrooms, etc. We've used all the amenities there! Clean, Clean, Clean. Compliments to the maintenance staff! Great cable and WiFi....even though town is close, the store on-site accommodated our right-now needs. We are here for two weeks and are very happy we made the reservation! Thank you to hosts Kevin & Shirley!

Room Tip: This is a former Route 66 property...not the Hilton Hotel...you'll enjoy the rooms if you rememb...

Hi - we stayed in late June and really like this motel. Room was fine including a fridge. Facilities in room and park great. We needed laundry and it was no issue when we need to do this at 10pm after a long day at te canyon. Very friendly service and includes a small shop on site.

Great location. I was disappointed that there was no air conditioning as it was super hot and that they charged me for extra coffee. (they only provide 2). Also, if you plan on doing any work on-line do it early in the AM and in the afternoon. At night the Wi-Fi is poor.....to non. They did provide a fan and the rooms were a good size. The staff here were exceptional! They went out of there way to make our stay good. .

Room Tip: Great Location! Good sized rooms. I am saying average because it was hot and there was no air condit...

Williams is a perfect overnight stop for visitors out of Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. And I'm sure there are few prettier locations within Williams than the Canyon Motel.

We specifically picked the Canyon Motel so we could stay in one of their converted rail cars. We were in Railcar #1 (the smallest and cheapest) and once the immediate novelty wore off we were left with a very small, badly-renovated room with erratic hot water and wifi.

But the bed was comfy, the air conditioning worked and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

And the price was right.

The indoor pool was smelly and dank so we didn't risk a swim.

I didn't see any of the regular motel rooms but assuming they are a level above the novelty-first rail car room we had I would have no trouble recommending the Canyon Motel based on its wider geographical location, its specific, pretty forest location, its friendly staff and its decent rates.

Room Tip: Don't go with Railcar #1 unless the novelty really appeals.

Nice and friendly welcome (with a welcome package), cool surroundings. We received a regular room (no cabooze), the room was a bit outdated but spacious.
Peaceful area, so a little drive to the village. About an hour drive to the south entrance of Grand Canyon.
Wifi was not goof. You had to pay for ice as well.
No breakfast.

We stayed for one night in the red caboose two weeks ago. We were traveling as four adults and two kids (2 years and 5 years old). Kind of a stretch because the kids had to sleep together in the bunk bed (lower side) but it was fun. They were so excited to sleep in a real caboose !!! Another option would have been to have a kid sleeping in the big king bed.The place was very clean and nice. We checked in at sunset. Williams is also a very nice little Arizona town focused on tourists of the Route66. Several excellent dinner places and gift shops.
