Our family of four stayed one night here while visiting the Grand Canyon. I'm a Hampton Inn loyal and always shy away from staying at "motels" but this place was amazing. Right in the city center. We walked to dinner and my kids said they felt like we were in the movie Cars. The motel feel ended when we opened the door to our room. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The only negative I can think of is that the railroad tracks are really close. If you're a light sleeper they may bother you but it didn't bother us at all.

I had to book the last room available during the sold out Fourth of July weekend and it's not cheap for $150 a night. Ouch. No choice but lowered my expectation quite a bit after reading all the review here go hopped on the car and go.
Good things: location in town on historic route 66, walking distance to everything here, the Wild West show at 7 pm is just a few steps down on the street. Steakhouse across the street. Should walk around and explore this fun historic little town with many fun restaurants and giftshops.
Park your car and walk into your room. Good free WI-FI. A/C worked fine. Hot water is fine. Flatscreen TV with direcTV multi channels for kids. Everythign is small but there is a bath tub, small fridge, small microwave and coffee maker, small round table with 2 chairs, 2 small queen? beds. Yes, 3 medium towels, but you can request more. Just ask. Complimentary very basic continental breakfast with toast and blueberry muffins, Cheerios and bran cereal, butter and jelly, coffee, bland OJ and kind of water-milk. At least the toaster worked. I didn't see hair on the bed but assume that staff will get you the new ? blanket/line if asked.
Not So Good things: Bouncy bed, old small room, Need more update and upkeep. Staff appeared not helpful and not available.

I can't begin to explain the horror. I understand this hotel is not a 4 start location;howeve, charging almost $100 a night, you would expect the room to be at least clean. Long story short: bugs in the room, staff was rude when we asked for new pillows because the ones on the bed were stained, the fridge still had food from previous guest. Don't waste your time. If I had paid $40 for this room, I wouldn't feel the need to share this review. You'll be better off in your car, I promise.

The room was small and dingy. Bathroom was very small. No bed frames under bed.. just an older box spring. The continental breakfast was a joke.served in a once laundry room..lol and we were told that we couldn't take the small muffins to our room..we did anyway. 3bath towels for 4 people and two way rags...hummm the no refund policy should have been a warning ..horrible..dump

Where Williams, AZ is a quaint little western town the motels all appear the same. The rooms were small, no frills. Breakfast was continental - served in a make-shift shed. Staff did not appear helpful and ready to service your needs. Sign at checkout to just leave your key.

This hotel was so dirty and dingy. Beds were so old and uncomfortable to sit on much less try to sleep on we didn't/couldn't/wouldn't stay. Went 3 doors down and stayed there for only $30 more. Did not bother to complain due to the fact that on check in I had to initial "No Refunds" ..........that should have alerted us, I have NEVER been asked to sign anything even similar to that EVER at any hotel. How about all the "tricks" to use the remote for the tv........"use this button but not this one" WHAT????? PLEASE PASS THIS 1 UP. I'm surprised Choice Hotels even deals w/this DUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Go 3 doors down and stay at either the Lodge on Rt 66 or the other Rodeway Inn for only $30 more.

Thanks to Alex for his assistance for telling my husband and I about tours and what to do in Williams. We went to the Grand Canyon and had a wonderful time. The location of the hotel is great and right on Route 66 within walking distance of restaurants and gift shops. The rooms were clean and it was very quiet at night.
