Thank you Days Inn! We had a very nice, comfortable stay. This was the perfect location for us. Only about an hour from the Grand Canyon. Hotel staff were friendly. Couldn't ask for more. Hotel is only a couple minutes drive from "downtown" Williams.

First let me say that the hotel is going through some renovations that may even be completed by this posting. I would have rated the hotel as Average but the service and the hard work of the staff bumped this to a Very Good.

This was the third stop on a road trip of the South West. We arrived around 600 pm in the evening. With no prior reservations we were able to get two rooms for the night. The hotel appears to be well kept on the outside. Upon entrance, the lobby was very well kept. A very friendly young lady was working the desk. We obtained our rooms and went to dinner. A Denny's is located next door and was an easy walk after a long day of driving.

As I said, the hotel appears to be going through some renovations. The carpet was new throughout the hotel that I saw. The negatives that remain ( and I hope will be fixed) were the peeling paint from the window seals. Minor other trim issues that could be easily repaired with a little attention to detail. The room was well furnished and I had no issues with the bed or the pillows. There was plenty of water pressure and hot water.

The following morning, breakfast was scheduled to begin at 630 am. My wife and I arrived in the breakfast area at about 620 am with the intent to wait until 630 am. There were 2 bus loads of foreign tourist that had taken over the breakfast area and the place initially looked like a war zone. The staff was working as fast they could to keep the items stocked and the room clean. They did an excellent job on both. They did this with a smile on their face the whole time. The hot breakfast included eggs, sausage and waffles along with the assortment of breads, cereals, fruits and juices.

I was traveling by myself from TX to CA, and all I needed was a bed and a shower (hopefully clean) close to the freeway. Boy was I pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel for the price. The other reviews of the hotel were the reason I picked it, and I was not disappointed. Thanks Days Inn!
