Good value but no stairs or luggage carts. Good choice of basic Continental Breakfast. Good advice from lady at the front desk. To the east side of town. This town as a good nite life and seems to cater to the old route 66 adult crowd. Buy Gas in town not by the interstate over 40 cents different.

Room Tip: Ask for stairs

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. You wrote that we do not have stairs, but I think you might have meant to say that we do not have an elevator. Because we DO have stairs. There are 30 motels in this town, only 1 has an elevator, and we are not it. But we only have 2 floors, so upstairs is only 14 steps away.

Lovely location, good stopover hotel. Room was comfy, quiet. Breakfast was adequate. Disappointed there was no business centre so unable to check on emails/contact from home.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry that we do not have a business center, but we are a small motel and there is simply no room for this.

Admittedly, I booked at Super 8 by mistake. When visiting Williams I usually stay at the other end of town. Most people staying in Williams are headed to Grand Canyon NP and as such are looking for an outdoor experience. The location is a bit outside the town which I find to be desirable, the drive to main or business part is less than 2 minutes. Location is up on a hill surrounded by trees instead of other inns and resturaunts. Rooms are clean, functional and basic = no problem. Downside is the towel rack is set up for only 3 towel sets. Being a party of 4 I had to go down to desk and was quickly given 2 more towel sets. I understand that the pool is open "seasonally" (I don't use the pool). Staff was friendly and they even mailed our postcards for us. Because of the pool issue, this would be my #2 choice in area, not bad considering the many choices in town.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write a review. Yes, we do advertise a "seasonal pool" because our pool is located outdoors. Williams is at 7,000 ft elevation and it snows here in winter, so it would be very impractical to keep the pool open in Winter. Even though it is Spring now, our temperatures have not yet risen above the 30s at night, and the pool heater could not possibly keep up with those temps. All of the outdoor pools in town open on Memorial Day weekend. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and you found the staff friendly.
