Erika from the front desk was the highlight of the stay. She was pleasant and efficient. This hotel is in need of a major renovation. Carpets were stained both in the room and the hallway, plus the room smelled. First thing we did was open the windows. Wi-Fi wouldn't work.

No breakfast.

The shower was great and the beds were good.

I would not stay there again. I couldn't wait to leave.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

Stayed here the night before going to the Grand Canyon. Lovely hotel, great rooms, but no fridges. Rooms are spacious and very clean, beautiful pool.
Internet was very fast in our room, thank you.
Free tea and coffee too, thank you again.
Great shower.
Hard to believe though that a hotel of this size and chain hotel reputation, does not have an elevator. We are traveling in USA for 6 weeks so have huge suitcases to lug upstairs. Would not stay here again solely for that reason.

Room Tip: Make sure you book a room on the ground floor.

We stayed the 2 nights at the Holiday Inn while visiting the Grand Canyon. The room was large and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The laundry room was clean and gave us a chance to wash our clothes as we were in the middle of a 2 week trip. The front desk had quarters for the machine and laundry soap. (FYI - the washer takes 35 minutes for a cycle and the dryer 45 minutes. Cost is $1.75 per load each machine and the soap is $1) We didn't eat in the restaurant, we grabbed breakfast at the jack in the box on the way out of the parking lot to eat on the 1 hour 10 minute drive to the Grand Canyon. Day 2 we ate lunch at Cruisers Cafe 66 in Williams. Priceline had an excellent deal on the room and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'd stay there again. The internet connection would not work, but we didn't need it so it wasn't a big deal.

I was pleased that our room was clean and pretty, based on reviews I read in advance of our trip about other area hotels. It was clean but very basic - no refridgerator in the room, NO ELEVATOR in the hotel, has new big screen tv with cable but you can't order movies of your choice, no free breakfast. We weren't planning to spend time in the room so cleanliness was our main concern and the room was both clean and pretty. They don't automatically clean your room each evening - you should call and request that if desired. The beds were comfortable and for the price we paid - just over $500 for 5 days, 4 nights, double beds - I have no complaints.
Breakfast was about $10 per person. We ate at the Jack In the Box directly across the parking lot for the next couple of days because not much is open as early as we rose, and the price was half that of the hotel breakfast buffett. Proximity to the Canyon was great and downtown Williams is very quaint. Tour buses will pick you up from the hotel or you are only minutes away from the train depot. (Driving? Buy your gas in Flagstaff where it's 50 cents cheaper per gallon!)

Room Tip: Be mindful that there is no elevator in this hotel.

Stayed here as it was relatively close to the Grand Canyon. The room was ok, not great, but the indoor pool was enjoyable. wi-fi reception was a bit patchy and the TV was a bit dated. Overall a satisfactory experience.

We booked through bookings.com and requested a room with a bath. Turned up they tried to offer us one with a shower. Very argumentative manager. Spent the best part of 30 minutes trying to justify, instead of just trying to see what was available. We could not be flexible as we could not bath baby in shower. One not safe and too slippery. eventually she found us a room. The cot they brought, bedding was really smelly and musty. So there was no way baby was sleeping in it.

Took ages for us to be seated in the restaurant my husband literally had to hound them for service. There were approx 4 grouos with 4 wait staff on, still that seemed too busy for them.

They gave us a $20 voucher for breakfast. It was soon apparent the wait staff in the restaurant were only willing to serve bigger groups as they felt their tip might be more substantial. As soon as our waitress Angelica cought sight of the voucher she became very rude and obnoxious.

At the end. I had an excess of $3 my husband had left so I asked Angela whether there was a phone she pointed to the corner and told me to go there and phone my husband in the room myself. Even though my omelette had been late. I asked whether it could be charged to my room. She said NO, she was rude, abrupt, walked off in mid conversation and shouted YOU HAVE TO PAY. Telling me the the Hotel and Restaurant were separate. Even though the Hotel tells you it's not. Obviously items could be cross charged. So I think the the wait staff are being encouraged to get the bills paid in full by their restaurant managers.

I was livid and told the Front Office Manager. Who was very quick to offer a monetary discount. I informed her it's not about the money. But the humiliation to be spoken to in such a rude manner in full view off other diners. My opinion, the whole wait team need to be retrained. They have no clue about customer service.
