We got into the hotel and its a basic hotel. Really no extras but nothing to complain about either. We went down to Doc Hollidays and sat in the back bar which was great! Had the whole thing to ourselves. We played pool for hours and talked to the bartender for awhile. He put on the ncaa games for us too. Lots of fun! We werent there long enough to check out much at the hotel but everything seemed clean.

My reservation through Expedia was for 2 Queen beds, clearly labeled so on my itinerary which I had printed and brought with me. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a room with a king size bed - not acceptable. Back at the reception desk, the receptionist by the name of Christina essentially said that this was our fault for making the reservation through a third party. She was patronizing, rude and kept interrupting us. We asked to see the manager, and it turned out she was the manager. Worst hotel staff I have ever seen. She then said that there were no rooms with 2 queen beds, and in fact the hotel was completely booked for the night. But of course she was lying and in the end we got the room. Avoid this rude person, avoid Ramada Williams/Grand Canyon that employs such a rude person.

Hotel staff was horrible including the manager. the value would have been ok if the property was better maintained and managed. could not get an ounce of sleep - the walls are paper thin, the air conditioner / heater was louder than a tank heading through rush hour, the property was not clean nor picked up, pop corn was not good, coffee was always out, and the spa never worked. looking at comments from others this appears to be false advertising as it appears it never works. they just advertise they have one to get people to book. really, save your money and book somewhere else. I don't know where - just not here!!!!

Room Tip: stay any place but here!!!

Booked this hotel online, and on arrival, all seemed well enough. We were directed towards the Pool and Spa area on check in, and thought that first thing in the morning, it would be a great idea to start out with a hot tub and swim. That morning, upon trying to turn on the spa jets, we discovered it wasn't working. A call to the front desk was met with a "well, there is a switch to turn on, try that". We'd already tried that.... so the clerk said a maintenance man would be down shortly. When he arrived, he stated that the hot tub hadn't been working for quite some time....and they were waiting for a part to arrive to fix it. He said the front desk people were morons. We agreed. Later that night, we tried to go back up to our room using the side entrance, and found our access card wasn't working. Another lady staying at the hotel, with her hands full of groceries, tried to get in as well....and couldn't. After running around to the front door, and having my other half open the door from the inside... we got in....and discovered in the morning, the easy fix for them was to duct tape the bolt open. Fabulous security NOT! The beds were hard as a rock. When all of this was addressed with the front desk, we were advised that Ramada had just taken over the building, and hadn't come through yet to tell them what had to be done..... Are you SERIOUS????? Don't do it.... save your money.... stay somewhere else!

The only good things were the internet rocked....and Doc Hollidays (Restaurant) was fantastic! Our waitress was amazing!

When my son watched Cars the Movie in his 6 th birthday , he wanted to visit Radiator Springs. Williams is as close, as you can get to that. The Holiday Inn was a little basic , but good location and great value for money. Within walking distance of the town ! The kids loved the pool, the staff were helpful and we loved the free popcorn machine in reception ! Would definitely visit again !!

I've been reading reviews and now I'm a little skeptical about staying here this weekend. I only read a couple of reviews. Before I booked reservations here I read that free breakfast was included (I hope that's true) this is our first family mini vacation so I hope we have a great experience at this hotel....fingers crossed. I'll give my reviews as soon as vacation is over, so for now i'll give it 3 stars to be fair =-)
