Ramada Williams/Grand Canyon Area

We stayed here for a week of Grand Canyon. Rooms are clean and semi-comfortable for the price. Front desk staff not really helpful at all. Tried to check in 30 minutes early and was told no after driving 2.5 hours...thankfully there is a nice area in Williams to tour. We had 4 people(family) and had 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, and 2 wash clothes everyday. When I asked if we could get 4 wash clothes daily I was told that is not their standard....when I asked if it made sense to have 4 of all the towels and only 2 wash clothes the front desk just ignored me....no free daily newspaper as advertised until I brought to managers attention and now it's off their site. Hot tub still not working and pool is ok but dirty. Smoking lounge is behind a red curtain outside and you have to pass it to get to pool....hope you like the smell of smoke.

Hotel clean enough - with good facilities in the rooms. Booked a room for 5 people and was given a room with 2 queen beds and no room for another bed. Was quickly changed to a suite at no cost - well done to the staff on duty. Pool good but as previous reviews have highlighted still no jacuzzi!. Ideally situated for Grand Canyon and in the quaint town of williams

Room Tip: If travelling in more than 4 people you really need to get a suite

We stayed here when it was still a Holiday Inn. We loved this hotel, and we loved Williams! The room was clean and my kids were very happy to be close to the pool AND snacks! =) The staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was good. We would love to go back!

I've read a lot of poor reviews here on this hotel but we didn't have any problems. The front desk was adequately friendly. We had reserved a room with 2 queen beds and they initially gave us a room with one king bed. But they corrected the error without any hassles. Room and bathroom was clean...much cleaner than the Vegas Strip hotel where we had just stayed the previous 2 nights. No elevator to the 2nd floor which could be a problem for some folks but was ok for us. The pool only had a handful of plastic chairs, no lounge chairs and the jacuzzi was not working so we didn't use them. However, the rest of the facilities were clean including public restrooms downstairs. Good location close to good restaurants in downtown Williams.

Just stayed there and this is a good hotel for Williams. Staff is very nice, they have a great restaurant for a buffet breakfast. Rooms are ok and clean. Good water pressure compared to other hotels in Williams. It is right off the freeway so it is a 3 min drive to town or a long walk. There is a steak restaurant in the hotel best in town. Williams is a 4 month resort town so in the summer you will pay more for not too much.

For the time of year and this area the price was good. My room was very dirty. The carpets and furniture need a good cleaning. Bathroom and bed were very clean. I think this use to be a Holiday Inn, and now it is a Ramada. All the trim is painted green in my room and the guest services book welcomed me to the "Holiday Inn Williams". Seems the the ownership does not have the pride to take care of the hotel. My room's bathroom was so small that you could not fully open the door. Three Tour Buses at the hotel the night I stayed, that made things interesting.

Next time I will drive on to Flagstaff as I have in the past, pay about 30% more and be much happier.

This is a lovely place to stay and it is an easy 50 minute to the Grand Canyon National Park. ( on just one road). The staff were very welcoming and the hotel had good facilities. There was a good pool and gym as well as free coffee/tea/popcorn in the lobby. The room was a good size and very comfortable.
Breakfast wasn't included but there is a restaurant attached which does a very large buffet for a fixed price. They did stop serving quite early ( 9am I think) so we missed it on the second morning)
