“Really hard to find, but worth it.”
Reviewed 6 February 2013

None of our three GPS's could find it and Mapquest only got us six miles away, but the signs picked it up from there. Wonderful and interesting visitors center, great staff and interesting wildlife.

“Imperial Dunes”
Reviewed 4 July 2012

Drove acroos the Dunes from Salton Sea, most interesting trip and the dunes are awesome.

Returned via Interstate which also crosses the Dunes and admired the canals to transfer water.

“Long Drive and Not Much to See”
Reviewed 23 February 2012

We are birders, so went there mainly with that in mind. It's about 45 minutes north of Yuma and then your are traveling on pretty rough dirt roads. We were in a 4 wheel truck so no problems, but those in cars should be careful. The road parallels the river with frequent turnoff roads to river overlooks. A nice afternoons drive, but not really that much to see since the birds were absent.
