“Worst bartender ever!”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

I went here for a wedding. The wedding was awesome but completely ruined by the staff, especially the bartender. I went up the the bar the first time and she just looked completely miserable. I asked for a 7&7 and my husband asked for a jack and coke. Let's just say there was no jack in his drink at all. Then later the brides grandmother got sick, terrible event the premedical came and everything. Well the brother of the bride went to the bar to get the bride a glass of wine. The bartender didn't even pour a full glass. The brother asked for a little more since it was for the bride and she was having a hard time seeing her grandmother being sick. The bartender poured a splash in the cup and said "ill just charge her for 2 glasses". Then 45 minutes later she was putting all the beer away and I asked her why she was putting it away and her response was "I want to get out of here by 10" ummm hello lady the wedding isn't over until 12. Just a terrible bartender and the wait staff wasn't much better. Juliana's you need to step up your game!

“Disappointed ....twice”
Reviewed 27 March 2014

First visit was our anniversary. Service was excellent thx to Eric. Food not so much. We both had pork chop with dates dish. Mine was over cooked/dry; companions dish was more moist and palatable. Table side Caesar salad seemed to be lacking something??

Second visit there were 4 of us. 2 ordered filet mignons cooked medium, one ordered salmon and the other ordered crab cakes. The beef filets were served an uncomfortably long time after the salmon and crab cakes were served. Also, one was over cooked and one undercooked. The salmon was also over cooked and served overtop spinach with no other veg., potato, rice, nothing, very small portion for an entree. Luckily he got to eat half of his mate's steak as it was too rare for her to enjoy. Hard to imagine but the service was worse than the food. One diner ordered a cup of soup as first course. Waiter commented, "Doesn't she feed you?" when he removed the empty dish. When we looked at him in bewilderment, he said, "Well, you inhaled that." Then, when removing our dessert plates ... each couple shared a piece of carrot cake which, BTW, was good and also generous ....there were only a couple mouthfuls left on each plate and he said something like I guess they weren't t such large pieces after all. He made us feel right from the start that he wasn't enjoying his chosen profession and he seriously needs some lessons in etiquette. Perhaps he was trying to be funny but in actual fact he was rude and needs to be clued in.

So in summary, will we return? Probably not. It is a high price to pay for the ambience, which is really the only thing we really enjoyed about this place.

“Great meal, fabulous courtyard dining experience”
Reviewed 17 January 2014

A "big city" meal with gourmet menu options in Yuma. Wide selection of delicious meals in a terrific courtyard. The inside dining room looked great, too. No need to patronize the chain restaurants in Yuma when you can have an excellent meal at a locally owned spot like Julieanna's. Don't miss out.

“Colorful surrounding and good food”
Reviewed 11 January 2014 via mobile

The restaurant has tent, patio or indoor seating area. The patio has several types of Macaws and a peacock. The indoor area has colorful decor. Our friends ordered the Caesar salad for two. It was prepared at the table and it was huge. Just add protein and you have a dinner salad. Our friends had the wild salmon with agave. Was very good and not over sweet. My wife had the spicy ahi salad it was flavorful and large. I had the Caesar salad the ahi tuna tower. It was fresh and came with wasabi sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce and pickled ginger. Over all a great dinner.
