“A taste of Germany”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 February 2013

The food here is good--not spectacular, but we have never been disappointed. While the presentation is only average, I have found the brat sampler, red cabbage, and dill cucumber salad to be tasty. You need to bring your own bottle if you want beer or wine.

“No German, just sloppy”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2012

We ordered: Bratwurst w. Sauerkraut and "Old Fashioned" potato salad and Grillwurst w. Sauerkraut and "Old Fashioned" potato salad.
Neither Bratwurst nor Grillwurst had been in contact with either a pan or a grill. They were bleak looking sausages not even hot but only slightly warmed. The Sauerkraut had the raw taste of being hauled out of a can and the potato salad was made with unpeeled potatoes. Best part of the meal was a crusty bun. Since borth sausages had the same taste we asked about the difference between a Bratwurst and a Grillwurst. They told us that one of them contained more seasoning than the other. Asked upon why the sausages weren't served hot they answered that they heated up sausages early in the morning, then "kept them warm" until sold.

4 hrs. after this meal we suffered of a bad diarrhea. This place is not recommendable.
