“Casual place, good food”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

A fun, casual place with lots of good choices in fish and seafood. Our party tried a range of dishes, Tops were the boiled shrimp, fried oysters, catfish, snapper Veracruz, and calamari. Not as crazy about the breaded shrimp. If you like the spicier side of life, the jalapeno "chips" (sliced, fried jalapenos) and the Hawaiian poppers (jalapeno poppers with a shrimp and cheese inside) are fun to try. Wash it all down with a cold beer!

“Flying Fish Delivers”
Reviewed 22 October 2013 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

This local joint serves up some of the best fish and southern comforts that I have ever had. Strongly recommend a visit to eat the catch of the day.

“Great Food and place to relax.”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

Our food was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. We had the fried catfish basket and shrimp salad. The place is designed for comfort and a good time with friends and family.

“Huge Menu/Lots of Choices”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

Prices are very reasonable. I'm not a big fan of McDonald type service. Stand in line, order, pay, then go get your meal when it is ready. The cornmeal breading on the fried foods didn't have any seasoning. Everything tasted like fried cornmeal...not much difference between the shrimp, the catfish, and the chicken. Because I love crab legs and there are no places to get them around here I will give this "joint" another shot. If they taste fishy, I'm gone. This place had a huge lunch crowd, probably because the meal was available very rapidly and the food was hot. It was noisy, hard too hear, and almost impossible to carry on a conversation.

“"A Clean Well Lighted Place" (and great food)”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

This place is usually packed but it is worth the queue. I have been here twice. The first time I had the pound-shrimp (1 lbs shrimp) because it was the special, and the second time I had the pound snow crab legs. It is value for money for the portion (and a side of corn cob and red potatoes) that you get. The crabs were VERY good. The gumbo is tasty but SALTY and I would suggest that they cut down on the salt a bit. never did anyone any harm to under-salt than to overdo it. This last Sunday I tried the jambalaya which was "new" to the menu... it is DELICIOUS. I definitely would recommend it. Spicy and delicious.
This place is nice, clean, well lighted and very good place to spend time with friends, family... probably even for a first time date. Not stuffy. good food and really nice.
I would recommend to friends, would be a go-to place in bentonville for meals and would come back again and again. and again.
