The lake, gorgeous. Islands were awesome! Friendly, helpful staff at main desk and in the "Shoreline Restaurant " plus housekeeping staff were very helpful. We enjoyed all of our meals plus the pool, hot tub and the planned activities by the State Park service. We hiked the trails, took kayak lessons, learned about the flora and fauna of the area. The Park Rangers, Jason Parrie and Elizabeth were extremely knowledgeable. Everyone in our group, including a four year old, enjoyed taking part in their activities! Highly recommend that you sign up for a really entertaining and fun learning experience. We stayed for three nights and the ONLY thing we disliked was leaving!!!
