“Nice stay”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

We stayed for one night on our way through Arkansas. This hotel was clean, reasonably priced, and had a good complimentary hot breakfast. We were traveling with our small dog and the pet fee was also reasonable. The hotel even had some small green space for us to walk the dog a bit before getting back into the car. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the hotel on our way to Lufkin, TX for our grandaughter's graduation and wasn't disappointed. First of all the hotel is very clean including the roooms, lobby area, elevators and hallways. Checkin and checkout went smoothly with no problems. Everything in the room worked and the room was very clean which is a priority with us. I was especially impressed with the lady that ran the breakfast in the morning. She was constantly cleaning the breakfast counter and immediately cleaned the tables after the guests were done eating. I guess I never experienced anyone in a hotel that was that efficient. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

The hotel was very nice and rooms (especially bathrooms) were very clean. We had a very quiet night's sleep on a comfortable bed. A plus was the desk and lounge chair in the room. We would stay there again, if we're ever in Blytheville. And, an added bonus is that an excellent Mexican restaurant is across the parking lot!

Room Tip: It's far enough from the highway, that all the rooms are quiet.

There was only one problem while at this hotel. There was pieces of cookie under the couch that got caught on the bottom of my wife's shoe when she put them against the couch. Then I stepped on them. My tip to the staff: Make sure you at least lift of the couch a little bit and vacuum under it a little bit to make sure you get that kind of stuff.

Other than that the check-in (very late at night) was a breeze and the woman at the front desk was very polite and friendly. I believe it said the hotel was smoke-free but I wondered how long that policy had been in place while walking to my room. The smell of smoke in the hallway (not in the room) was quite obvious.

The room (other than the cookie) was clean and spacious. We had a suite with king size bed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were top quality. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was nicer than the hampton inn, homewood suites, and Marriott that I stayed in during my trip. I typically stay in Hilton hotels when I travel but this hotel has definitely put Comfort Inn's on my good list. The staff in the morning at the front desk were really friendly.

Thank you for taking time to post this review. We are glad you enjoyed your recent stay with us. However, allow me to apologize for the housekeeping error you encountered regarding the cookie pieces that were found on the floor. That is unacceptable and we sincerely apologize.

Our property is 100% nonsmoking, so we also apologize for the smell of smoke in the hallway when you checked in. Guests who choose to smoke inside our hotel are charged $300, and we do enforce that policy.

We apologize for the less than excellent experience but we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the compliments to our front desk staff. We hope to see you again soon!

Very impressed with the Comfort Inn. I've been coming to Blytheville for 8 years and usually stay at the Holiday Inn, however I thought I'd give Comfort a try and save a little $$. The building is just a few years old, the rooms are just as good as Holiday, and they have a free breakfast bar. So thumbs up as a better value then the Holiday Inn or the Hampton.

For a family of 6, finding a clean, spacious and affordable place to stay for a night isn't easy. We have Four Seasons expectations but not the budget. The Comfort Inn is definitely not the Four Seasons but they share the basic qualities that make for a comfortable stay. Since we only stayed for a night, I am only reviewing the room quality.

For quick one night stops, we try to find a room with 2 queens plus a sofa sleeper to accommodate our family. This hotel offered us a room with 3 queen beds for $159/night. It was 2 connecting rooms sharing a bathroom. It was perfect! Our "suite" had a desk, television in each room, mini refrigerator, and coffee maker. The bathroom was clean with granite vanity and plenty of counter space for all our toiletries. The shower head offered different settings and good water pressure. Definitely new carpeting and freshly painted walls. Beds were very comfortable. Mattresses soft yet firm. Bedding was crisp, clean with down comforter and coverlet. No more bad bedspreads! Pillows soft but small. Furniture not great but new.

Overall, we had comfortable
stay at the Comfort Inn. It was a great value for the
accommodations offered. Our
room with clean, up to date, and the beds were very comfortable.

We were a family headed to New Orleans for Spring Break and had some unexpected car troubles that set us back. Having 2 small children on board decided that we would pull off the road for the night. The hotel was easy to find, super clean, friendly, and comfortable. We enjoyed the 1 night we stayed. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!!! If we ever do a road trip again, we would definitely stop again.

Thank you for your kind words! We are pleased that you had a great experience at the hotel (although your car trouble was surely frustrating and worrisome). We hope the rest of your spring break was wonderful, and we hope to see you again soon.

Thanks again.
