Amazing... Owner Jamie was super helpful, if you had a question or a problem she'd solve it or at least try with such a dedication. I'd have to agree with the review that says it's one of Ecuador's hidden treasure! The place is so relaxing, with a great view and breeze, plants everywhere and access to the beach! That par was amazing! Because Ayangue is not so known you avoid the tourist overwhelming overpopulation and enjoy a beach with just locals and super cheap native seafood gastronomy! This place It's a must!

The couple Samuel and Jamie picked me from the side of the road heading into Ayangue and there helpfulness didnt stop there. With Jamie a wealth of knowledge on the area as she has studied tourism before starting the lodge. This newly established cabins are well built with hot showers and fantastic bathrooms. The view from your cabin has fantastic views of the town and some of the beach with beautiful seabreezes passing through the patio making it a relaxing area to have a siesta or to read a book. With beach access for all walks of life kids, parents and singles it makes for a really realxing time for a weekend get away or acouple night stay heading up or down thew coast. This lodge is one of the hidden treasures in this great country.

On vacation from Canada.... Cute, quant cabins overlooking the beach/ocean. Rooms have big private terraces. Access directly to the beach and Ayangue restaurants. Super cheap seafood at the beach restaurants! Owner Jamie was super friendly and helpful, full of interesting information about the area, and speaks perfect English. We went to Ayangue for the scuba diving, but enjoyed the hotel and town too! We stayed 4 nights. Definitely would recommend to include Ayangue (and Muyuyo Lodge) in your travels up the coast, very cute fishing village.
