The pictures on TripAdvisor did not lie... if anything, they could not show the full magnificence of the views from the hotel! If only we had extra few days to stick around and just sit on the terrace and enjoy the scenery!

Rooms: small, but nice and cozy, equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony looking towards the mountains. Nevertheless, very cold. Although each room is equipped with a heater, the bathroom window is going directly into the hallway outside (meaning to the "street") with no door or glass, or any cover to cover it up. Our room did not have hot water in the evening and at night, therefore we could not take shower after arriving quite late, and had to brush our teeth while still wearing winter jackets due to the low "street" temperature in the bathroom. Next day when we did have hot water, we've been thinking twice before taking a shower, as the temperature outside was still -10C... my husband had to improvise and stick a pillow into the window opening to be able to warm up the bathroom somehow... MESSAGE TO HOTEL STAFF: Please figure out some kind of cover/window/door in your bathroom window, so it can be used normally.

We've had our breakfast on the terrace overlooking the mountains and facing East. What a spectacular sunrise! Breakfast food was good, and also, the Traditional Nepalese Tea was delicious!

Room Tip: Check out the bathroom when you check-in. If it has an uncovered window going outside, change the room - you won't be able to take shower, use the bathroom at night, and/or even sleep well at night heater-or-no-heater. As the nights are very cold.

While checking in to the hotel, you will get caught by the stunning view of the Langtung Range, which is sublime. Every room offers this grand view, and it is simply an out of the world experience.

Professional and friendly staff, good prompt services, sumptuous food, and the heavenly view...I could not ask for more.

I was surprised that they also cooked a separate meal for my kid (2 years old) who couldn't eat any thing else in Nepal.

Great stay...simply wonderful

Room Tip: Opt for the older block of the hotel...they offer the best views...

We were caught by the stunning view of the endless Himalayas in the hotel lobby on our arrival. It was so moving and powerful that we almost forgot to check in first! You wouldn't expect to see such a grand view from outside of the small hotel entrance. It was even more fun to find out all the rooms were actually situated alongside the mountain! Every room is like a seat in a stadium to watch the sunrise! I did visit other hotels in the area and was glad I made the right choice staying here!!

The staffs were very professional both in the lobby and the restaurant. Services were good. Food was great! I was surprised to see they even had rice porridge in the breakfast buffet. My only gripe was the shower. They run out of hot water in the late night because of high occupancy but we were glad the shower was nice and hot next morning!
