We traveled here as a couple and found this hotel nice and cozy. The manager was out of town and there were few young boys who were taking care. Rooms doesn't have telephones but that didnt caused us much trouble. Staff were very helpful and kind. There are 2 small dogs in the hotel as pets, very calm and playful. Just that the location of the hotel is not so good. but as ur inside then its fine. there is no Tv in the room but its in the lounge area where you will never go. Bathroom was also outside the room but there are other rooms with attached bathroom. Breakfast was not so good too. we went out the following morning to have better breakfast, its not expensive in nepal. Over all the hotel is ok but you can find better hotels in kathmandu city as this is far from the main tourist area.
Very Important - Always carry with you a MAP to reach the hotel if you take a local taxi along with the hotel card or brochure with complete address as even the taxi guys might get lost searching for it. We made a mistake by not carrying the map and were roaming for an hour in the night (it gets pretty dark and scary).More
