My wife and I stayed at The Trails Inn in May (655862). The room was no frills, but nice and clean and had everything we needed (including refrigerator and microwave). The air conditioner/heater and water temperature in the shower were a little tricky to regulate but manageable. Very reasonable rates. The location is not right in town, but just a little outside of the main strip, however, it's an easy drive into town (if you want to brave the parking) or take the trolley, which stops right across the street. The Swiss owners, Arianne and Silvio, were super nice and very helpful. They gave us advise about where to eat as well as discount coupons for some of the places. If you are looking for a fancy place, look elsewhere. But, if you are looking for a clean, nice, place to lay your head between excursions in Eureka Springs, definitely check out The Trails Inn.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 121, which has a king bed and is off of the street, next to the pool. It has it...

Silvio and Arianne made us feel very welcome and answered all of our questions. Silvio had excellent restaurant recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean, the shower was hot and there was no noise from the busy Eureka Springs traffic. We had a little balcony that overlooked the pool and we were surrounded by trees. The continental breakfast was surprisingly good - fresh kiwi, grapes, berry cheese danish and greek yogurt. And there were free Swiss chocolates!

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back.

Our group had planned a motorcycle trip through Arkansas, and chose Eureka Springs as our hop off point. We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay, and chose the Trails Inn based on other reviews here on tripadvisor.

We were not disappointed. Upon arrival our group was greeted by Silvio and Arianne's wonderful smiles and playful banter. They made us feel welcome, and even were prepared for bikers with rags to clean off our bikes after a long ride (something I never would have thought a hotel would provide!). The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and by the overall condition of the place, you could tell that the owners take pride in their establishment.

To be fair to folks looking for a place to stay while in Eureka Springs, we didn't have any complaints with this hotel, but I will point out that this is an older hotel that is close to a well traveled road (you can hear cars and trucks passing by outside if you don't have the AC blowing on high) If that sort of thing would bother you, you may want to invest in some ear plugs or look elsewhere. For less than $100/night this place is a well-maintained gem!

As others have mentioned you are also within walking distance to several restaurants and shops.

I know where I will be staying when I come back... The Trails Inn! (687538)

Room Tip: Rooms facing the highway can hear traffic passing.

We stay here a couple of times each year. It's in a great location - within walking distance of some shopping and several restaurants. The owners, Arianne and Silvio, are always great - and always improving our stay. Clean, comfortable, cozy... (564175)

(Reference number 667947) Money well spent. The Trails Inn had nice people always ready to help assist as they made themselves available to take care of our every need and the bed was very comfortable with a very clean room with no problem to complain about. I wish we could have stayed longer. Before going to Branson you've got to stay at the Trails Inn. You'll be glad you did. Nice Swiss man Sylvio provided the best help ever.

Room Tip: Perfect room...nice and quiet ! ! !
