“Good stay for your money”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

We stayed at the hotel during Memorial weekend. This was the second time we've stayed there. The first time was good enough for us to decide to try it again.

Very clean rooms; very pleasant employees; continental breakfast consisted of cereal, pastries, fruit, coffee & juice; better price than most in the area; right next door to the Dollar General (snacks, beverages & toiletries at reach); trolley stop next to the entrance; nice pool; very much motorcycle and motorcyclist friendly; several benches & lawn chairs placed outside, near all rooms (ground & upper levels).

If I had to give it a negative, it would be the comfort of the mattress (we have a tempurpedic so kinda hard to compare though).

Room Tip: This hotel has two levels - best to select ground level Parking is only in front

Staff was very nice and helpful! The room was very clean and very large; we stayed in the large Jacuzzi suite. The rooms in the back have an amazing view especially in the fall. Rooms need a little updating decor is little dated but overall we had a very nice stay. Bed was very comfortable. Will definitely come back again!

Room Tip: We asked how old the beds were to ensure a good bed. She was very helpful and guided us to the right...

This Is a great place to stay for the money and have stayed at places twice as much and wouldn't stay at those again. I have stayed here probably 10 times and once the room smelled a little musty. We didn't have a hot tub room but maybe the kids splashed some water on the floor next door. I could have gone to the office where I know the caring manager would have taken care of it pronto but 100ft from the office is a Dollar General and a few shots of febreeze later...... problem solved. All other times were perfect. The rooms are a bit dated but are clean as a whistle and it is obvious they care about the place and your stay there. I have talked to alot of folks there and they seem to attract the friendly people. When in eureka I don't stay anywhere else.

We stayed here because we were traveling with another family who had stayed here....before when there is no where else available. I have to chuckle ( or have a glass of wine) when I read the comments left on this hotel about it being 'very reasonably priced'. We paid $180 for 2 nights......The room smelled like perfumed masked smoke, even though it is a non smoking motel, the beds were atrocious, the bathroom was clean is all I can say. No coffee makers in room, cereal in lobby and hot water available for oats.. I stayed the previous weekend in a Hyatt, on the river, in Wichita, for the same price. The only good thing about the bad beds is that your so tired from not getting any sleep on them the first night that you konk out the second. Yes the front desk was very nice. Good Value: no. Step up from camping: yes.

Room Tip: The back rooms have a nice view of a wooded slope, and maybe ask if any of the rooms have newer matt...

We decided to find a hotel once we got to Eureka because most places had rooms available. Our room was very reasonably priced. It is an older hotel but offered great value for the location. Overall it was clean and provided us with a place to end the day. The front desk was friendly and helpful.

All in all the location is perfect place. Easy access on and off the main highway. Staff is friendly and hold very good communications skill to events around town.
Rooms are standard in size but could use an upgrade with a small refrigerator and micowave for leftovers. Basic styled room with a jacuzzi and queen size bed. Full size bathroom with tub and shower and extra towells. We had a Jacuzzi room it was alright. Have had better but style and size go with the vintage style the rooms is. The over all was average for price paid.
Free wi-fi worked great for our lap tops and cell phones.
Very neat and clean location.
