“Ok but pricey”

Very quirkey place. Very interesting but a little over priced for what you get. Once was enough for us.

“Quirky but cool”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

A granddaughter of the builder lives here and lets you roam the house and grounds for a moderate fee. House was designed for trees to grow inside, and builder was a rock hound, which is evident in the structure. Gardens are flocking with hummingbirds and butterflies. Glad we saw it, but once is enough. Give yourself 45 minutes to get the full scope of what's here, and tarry longer if you like to watch butterflies and hummingbirds.

“What Determination . . .”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

Hard to believe one person could collect so many rocks and pebbles . . . enough to build a house and decorate the flower gardens. Would love to have had the opportunity to hear some of her stories!

“Your home is your castle!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

We weren't quite sure what to expect but we are definitely glad we stopped to visit Quigley's Castle. One of the grand-daughters met us at the gate to give us a little history on the home and then we were allowed to wander through the house and gardens at our leisure. There were cards in various places in the house and garden with quotes and descriptions of some of the special items. It was just a unique experience and fun to see the vision of a little girl who truly loved the outdoors and decided to surround herself with it!

“A fun side trip for everyone”

It was very interesting to hear about how the building was made. To think of all the work that was done was just inspiring. The gardens were beautiful
