This is an old place but offers great activities for young and old. We came for few hours and rented a canoe and pedal boats. Prices were very affordable. Road to it nice.

Spent a beautiful, spring day hiking the trail around the lake. A little muddy since the ground is thawing but so scenic! Ran into a few problems crossing creeks as one of the bridges must have been washed away during a recent storm? Our feet got wet, but it was all part of the adventure! A nice place to enjoy nature while visiting Eureka Springs!

My wife and I went hiking here. It was beautiful. The trails are really fun. There is an amazing limestone dam at the end of the lake. It was an amazing view to look off the dam toward the water and see mountains in the background.

We hiked on the 4 miles trail. It took us about an hour and a half because we got lost a few times. For some reason it was very wet in the woods. We kept having to walk through massive puddles and occasionally rivers. At the very end of the trail we found a bridge that took us over one of the streams but there was not a bridge for getting over the next stream. We were basically trapped and had to walk through a very cold stream. The water only went up to our ankles but it was confusing. Luckily this all occurred at the end of the trail.

Still the hiking was very fun and the forest and lake are beautiful. I would hike it any day.

I love to go to the lake with my family and this place has great camp sites with and without electrical hook up... Awesome walking trails that cross the dam. The ladies and the youth girls in my church love to rent out a couple of camp sites in the summer months and camp for the weekend.. The lake has a jump off dock that is great fun!!! ..BUT be warned, it is made of rock and can become extremely slippery when wet; and snakes are in abundance but are usually scarce with ppl jumping and hopping into the water.

This is the largest city park outside of Central Park in NYC. It has small cabins built in the 60's , concrete and simple that are for rent. A lake with canoes available. And mountain biking and camping too. Well kept secret in Eureka Springs, about 4 miles out of town.
