“Hospitality beyond compare.”
Reviewed 21 June 2009

We just got back from a wonderful week in Eureka Springs, made even better by Ray and Joe (the owner), along with the wonderful staff..
We had over 40 bikes, and around 60 people there this week. All our needs were met and expectations exceeded.
The facilities couldn't have been better for a group like ours, with the fire pit and meeting room located between the two buildings.
What really made the stay great was Ray going out of his way to make sure all our needs were met, though.
We'll be invading Eureka Springs next year, too, and this is where you'll find us.

We booked this property based on the reviews on this site. Before we did we noticed the motorcycle friendly comments and called to question whether it would be noisy or unsuitable for non-cyclists. I was assured it would be fine. We made a reservation for one room with two queens and one room with two doubles. When we got there in the late evening there were no more queen rooms available. We wondered why we even made a reservation if they give your room away, since I believe they will charge your card if you don't show up. The desk clerk was nice, but didn't seem too concerned that we weren't getting what we reserved and didn't apologize or anything. However, we were only charged for two double rooms. The rooms were extremely dated; something from the seventies. The room looked very clean, although we did not use the showers. There were bikers talking outside our first floor room until past eleven pm. I put in ear plugs so I don't know if it went later. If you want to sleep late, forget it. Bikers were revving their engines before 9 am. I got up and went to check out the breakfast. Small blueberry muffins, small plain bagels cereal, coffee and juice was the gist of it. On the positive side the same desk clerk that checked us in was very helpful in the morning with suggesting a breakfast place (no one wanted the hotel breakfast) and telling us about some interesting places to see. One more thing that I didn't notice until we were leaving is that they had a confederate flag flying next to the American flag, which we all found offensive. I suspect that this is the biker's favorite and that there are much better places to stay. At least I hope so.

I would definitely stay here again. Very clean, great value for the area & motorcycle friendly. We traveled with 2 other couples & all of our rooms were located right in a row. Room was very clean & staff very friendly. They even made a fire for us out back in the fire pit. It was like being in your own back yard. Very close to everything. You can walk to the small Harley shop just a few doors down!

We were in Eureka Springs for the Thunder in the Mountains bike rally. We checked in on Thursday afternoon. The owner, Joe McClung, was there in the office and was quick to inform me of events the motel was hosting that weekend. The room was immaculate. I have never seen bathroom floors in a motel sparkle like these did. The actual location for the bike rally was the pits but there were several events going on at our motel that made us wish we had not wasted $50 on the actual rally. The Rodeway Inn is in a very good location. Mr. McClung took several of us on a bike tour of Eureka Springs and told us of the history of this great city which was great since this was my first trip there and my husband learned things he never knew about the city that he had visited several times before. Mr. McClung got to know a lot of the guests personally and spent time chatting with them daily. A party for the motel guests was held the last night of the rally. Joe McClung and the staff at the Rodeway Inn is what made our trip to Eureka Springs perfect. We have already booked our room for next year.

You can certainly find swankier places for a higher price but if you want a clean room and a good rate with an owner and staff that will bend over backwards to accommodate it's guests then you have found the right place. This is my seconds stay at Rodeway Swiss and will be back next year. Joe and staff were incredibly helpful planning my motorcycle ride route and suggestions for dining that were right on.

No frills motel that was very clean. We got more than we expected for the amount of money we paid. We went to Eureka Springs at the spur of the moment, and by that time the "downtown" hotels were already full. We didn't know what we would find and were pleasantly surprised. The bed was comfortable, the cable had a large selection of channels, and the room and bathroom were extremely clean. We got a non-smoking room, and it didn't smell like the "deodorized" rooms you sometimes get when you want a non-smoking room and its obvious it wasn't always that way. We were in building B, a short walk from the main motel building.

The staff was very very friendly, and had several recommendations for our day, including a hiking map, eating, and parking advice.

It was very close to downtown, only about a 3-minute car ride. Was supposedly on the trolley route, but we didn't ride the trolley (although we probably should have). Only problem with the trolleys are they were to stop running at 5:00 on this Saturday, and we didn't want to be stuck downtown. Cafe Amore was within walking distance for good Italian food. The motel was located on a fairly flat open stretch of road, which is uncommon in Eureka Springs, and helped to not feel as claustrophobic.

We would definitely stay there again.
