Enjoyed our stay very much. We just hated to have to leave and plan on going for a longer stay in the next month. The canopy bed was wonderfully comfortable...at our age the mirrors on the ceiling of it gave us a good laugh! The hot tub was great . We even got in the hot tub and relaxed Sunday morning before we had to leave. Nice big bath towels to dry off with. The surround sound was nice. We like to play CD's while we're going to sleep. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We'll see you again soon.

We stayed in Cabin #13. We had two adults, one young child, and two young adults. The king size bed in the master bath was big enough for the two adults and the young child to sleep comfortably. The young adults were very comfortable, one on a queen size bed in their own room and the other on a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room area. There was a television with a VCR player in the master bedroom. That was kind of cool and felt very much like we were camping because all we have today are DVD's. From the master bedroom you do have to walk through the smaller bedroom but that was ok with us. It really had that camping in a cabin feel. There was also a good working tv in the living room area.

We were very impressed of the cleanliness of the cabin, especially the bathrooms and the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. Even all the mirrors around the jacuzzi were streak free. The tub sat two adults and one small child comfortably.

Also, we arrived late in the evening, after 10pm. The clerk was very kind and did not seemed disturbed by our late arrival. She was very welcoming and even walked us to our cabin. There had been a very hard rain for hours that day and there were not any leaks anywhere in the cabin.

It was very nice to have more than one area to park our vehicles close to the cabin. Literally, it was just a few feet from car to door which was good because it rained most of the next day as well.

Also, there is a trolley stop at the cabins which was very nice since there was only paid parking in the city. $5.00 for four hours. That was kind of a bummer, so we just took the trolley everywhere buying an all day pass for everyone in the family, which was reasonable.

We enjoyed our stay, the cabin, & the service was very good. Pine Lodge was a good choice for this area. We were on a Trolley stop which allowed my Mom & sister-in-law to enjoy the city sights & shopping while my husband & I hiked to our hearts content. Accommodations were just what we had hoped.

I was concerned after I booked our cabin after reading some poor reviews, but I must say we were pleasantly surprised. Pros: We had cabin #4 the most budget friendly cabin only $59 per night and it was a weekend. We were able to park in front of our room which was good. The bathroom was roomy and had a full tub/shower with great water presuure. It was everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Cons: My only I wish there was a larger window to view the woods and would be nice if they offered maid service ie: fresh towels, sheets and trash removal, but what do you want for this low price. They will give you fresh sheets and towels if you go to the front desk.
I would recomend this place to everyone.

The Pine Lodge Cabins are in dire need of repair. There are so many places to stay in this area please try another!

During our stay one guest got stuck in thier bedroom when the door knob broke. We had to go to the office to report it. She was in there for about 45 mins to an hour. She could actually exit the building through a back door but at 80 could not accompany the rest of us in the livingroom b/c she was unable to climb the stairs.

Our heater would not work. I walked over and reported this to the office. They came over with pliers in hand telling us how to get it to work. So this apparently has been an on going problem they have refused to repair. We could never get to a comfortable temp b/c it was hard to adjust with pliers.

The fridge was so cold everything froze. You could not get it to adjust. It also leaked. we had to place towels infront of it and clean water up each morning when we got up.

The bathroom facuet has a major drip that is very annoying to those sleeping in the livingroom and 1st bedroom since the bathroom is in the middle. The toliet was broke in this bathroom as well. We finally just left the lid off the tank so you could flush the toliet each time you went.

The beds were terrible. The king size bed is litterly bowing. It visibly sags in the middle. The hid-a-bed is even worse. Plus the couch has rips in it. I did not lay on the queen size bed but my Grandmother and Great-aunt said it was extremely uncomfortable. I can say that the bed linens were clean.

The bathroom was reasonably clean however the smaller bathroom had a strong urine smell. And the large bedroom smelled of animals. I did not smell this is the remainder of the cabin.

Each room has a step down (for a total of 3 steps). The older people in our group (80 and 77) had trouble with these. However the rest of us (55, 30, 13, and 2) seem to navigate them just fine. However, on the step from the livingroom to the hallway there is a soft spot in the floor. You had to step over this spot or it would pop and you felt like you were going to fall through.

The last complaints are that the carpets were so dirty all our socks where black on the bottom. So they really need cleaned or replaced. There were small black bugs around the back door and spider all over the place inside. So a contract with a pest control company is something they are def. lacking!

Over all the place was falling apart but we enjoyed shopping and spending time with each other for the 2 nights we stayed. We will just never stay there again! Happy Travels to all!!

My family had chosen Eureka Springs as the site of a reunion we hold every three years.

Before we get to Pine Lodge, let me tell you that Eureka Springs itself was a disappointment. What we thought would be a quant old town in the foothills of NW Arkansas turned out to be a swollen tourist mecca that is not well suited for travel either by car or on foot. Most of the stores are filled with countrified souveniers, though a few art galleries show impressive, if costly, original art works. Local tourist attractions amount to a Passion Play and an overpriced lake tour on a party boat. We attempted to get information on a supposedly popular ghost tour, but the tour operators never returned our calls, and we opted not to roll the dice on a $17.50 per person admission for a tour that may not be worth half that.

The main attraction in Eureka Springs is its historic downtown area. But once people made a single trip downtown, the town itself held little interest. It's just so crowded, and the downtown area is nothing but gift shops and restaurants, 70 percent of which seem to offer the same things from place to place.

We booked several cabins at Pine Lodge, which is on your right just as Hwy 62 reaches Eureka Springs proper from the north. While the tiny cluster of cabins hugs the highway -- closer than Pine Lodge's Web site might lead you to believe -- noise wasn't much of an issue. And the cabins look solid and "woodsy" from the outside. But our party had many complaints about the state of the cabins. An uneven cement floor in the bathroom almost cost my brother one of his toes, and the constant, fetid stench of a leaking sewer or septic tank permeated our cabin's porch area. Some appliances in the larger cabins equipped with kitchens proved to be barely working. The in-room jacuzzis send water everywhere, and not just when they are in, um, vigorous use. Overall, there was an overwhelming sense that the owners have started to neglect it, just enough for the neglect to touch every cabin. Of the 14 people attending our reunion , not one liked this place, and this from a group that very happily convened three years ago at a simple State Park cabin in Minnesota that cost us all of $10 per person, per night.

I've stayed in lodging around the world and at all levels, from Four Seasons hotels to open-air rainforest hostels with mosquitio netting that was not merely decorative. I can be comfortable and happy in a room at Motel 6 . This place wasn't awful, but it was a disappointment, and because there are about 9 million places to stay in Eureka Springs, I'd heartily recommend to those seeking lodging to look elsewhere.

IF YOU GO: We did find a couple of good spots: Roscoe's coffee house is a nice hang-out for locals with free wi-fi. The art gallery at the Basin Park Hotel is interesting and different. There's a cinnamon roll bakery on Spring St. that does a fine job with its main menu item. And the beautiful Crescent Hotel and Spa is definitely worth a visit.
