We came back after a visit 2 years ago. The Inn was recommended by my son and daughter-in-law. It is first class all the way and a very peaceful private setting. This was our 5th anniversary and everything was perfect. If you want quiet , in a natural setting, this is the place, but also close to restaurants, shopping, etc. John and Georgia O'Keefe

We were looking for a place to get away for our 25th wedding anniversary. We found Evening Shade Inn online and read a lot of the reviews and decided to give it a try. We rented the Evening Shade Cottage, it was all we had hoped for and more. The place is wonderful and the grounds are beautiful It's very clean, private, and the food was delicious. We also loved Eureka Springs.

Clark and Donna,
Were great host. The Inn offers in-room delivered hot breakfast and afternoon dessert also delivered to the room. The food was great but the little things really made the difference like the extra soft towels and Clark bring umbrellas to us at the trolley stop (located at the Inn) just in case it rained.

We have been tellin our friends to stay at Evening Shade!

Our stay at Evening Shade Inn is just what we needed. My husband and I had been so stressed and busy, we needed a night to just relax and feel pampered. When we arrived at the Inn, we drove into the driveway, and were surrounded by beautiful flowers and forest. It felt like we were a lot farther away than just a few minutes away from the strip in Eureka Springs. When we walked into our room, we were greeted with a fireplace, king bed, jaquzzi, and a table set with a delicious looking chocolate pie, truffles, and wine glasses. We decided where to eat for dinner with their trip planning guides in the room, and picked up some wine in town. After dinner, we made coffee, and went to sit in the gazebo to watch the sunset over the mountains. We ordered a movie from the office, and watched our movie, sipping wine, from the jaquzzi. There was also hot chocolate, popcorn, and snacks in the room if we cared for them. The next morning, our delicious breakfast of sausage burritos, fruit, and muffins was brought to the room in a basket. It was the perfect trip, and just what we needed. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience staying at the Evening Shade Inn Bed and Breakfast. Our room was beautifully decorated and the accommodations were exceptionally spacious and comfortable. The delicous breakfast was delivered right to us at a time we had chosen and the scrumptious afternoon dessert was a nice surprise. We found the location convenient and peaceful. The owners, Clark and Donna, are warm and friendly. They gladly shared the recipe of the of the cream cheese danish we had enjoyed so much as part of our breakfast. Without hesitation, we highly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast.

My husband and I really loved the Evening Shade Inn. It was romantic and very relaxing. We checked in on April 11th and the Innkeepers had baked the best chocolate cake for my husband's birthday it was so good. We enjoyed the breakfast and desserts. The cottage was so beautiful and very clean. We are planning a trip again this year to the Evening Shade Inn. I am looking forward to the wonderful food and jacuzzi. Clark and Donna are the best. They really made our Anniversary and my husband's birthday one that we will remember forever.

  • Liked — The cottage was very romantic.
  • Disliked — I wish I could live there forever, but I had to leave.
