This cottage has all of the charm of a Victorian cottage in Eureka Springs but was also extemely comfortable with upscale ammenities and a hospitable atmosphere. My three adult daughters and I stayed over a weekend and found it to be the perfect place for our visit to Eureka Springs. The cottage is located in a very quiet residential area but right on a Trolley stop and not far from the Crescent Hotel. It was very clean and comfortable.
One does have to be careful using the staircase especially if carrying a suitcase. An extra handrail at the top edge of the stircase would be helpful. I am in my 60's and managed just fine - I just had to be careful.
All of the arrangements were easy to make and the rental process went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next trip to Eureka Springs!
This was a funky house and was comfortable for the most part. The location was good except parking is on the street. It is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Beautiful views out into the trees from the living room and deck- we even saw a doe come up one evening to eat near our deck! Downside is the staircase going down to the bedrooms downstairs- it is not for anyone with the slightest mobility issue- very awkward staircase. And the shower was in this utility room with the washer/dryer. It could use some updating.
