With my wife and baby we stayed there for 4 nights; without reserving a greater room, we just got it. That was very friendly. The breakfast was good, very nice bread. And the dinner was not choosable but also ok. The hotel room was in another building, old-fashioned but cozy. The curtains left a lot of sunlite through, not handy with a little baby... The Eifel area is really great. We drove to Koblenz, Cochem and Bonn; very nice cities and nice routes to come there.

Enjoyed staying at Blaue Ecke. Free wifi, english speaking staff, very friendly, reasonably priced and short distance from the Ring. Nothing is open in the area on Sunday, so plan accordingly. Bathroom is very large and everything clean. Breakfast was very good.

I've visited this area of Germany several times and have stayed at the Blaue Ecke previously. Great rooms, wonderful staff and a great location near the North Loop.

On this trip I brought along a group - there were 18 of us - and we enjoyed the rooms and the hotel put together a very nice dinner package for us. The food was wonderful, as was the whole of the stay.

We booked the comfort room but got "upgraded" to the romantic room with a poster bed. I don't know if it was really an upgrade as the view was of the back alley.

The room was very clean, and had been updated. The bathroom was modern. I loved the shower, probably my favorite out of all the hotels we stayed in during this trip...nice and big and the lighting was so good, although we could have probably used the space in the room instead. The room itself was rather small, and the furniture bulky. We would stay here again for the location though.

Driving through the little alley to get to their "parking" is a joke, as prior posters have said, but we were able to park by the sister hotel only 200 ft away. The sister hotel was shut down at that time.

Probably same as many other people, we were in Adenau for Nurburgring/Nordschleife. We arrived Sunday afternoon (when the Ring was open all day), and because the room was very hot, we kept the windows open. We could hear the cars in the afternoon but it wasn't bothersome. That's why we were there!!!

We really loved where this hotel was situated, right in the center of town. A good bakery just across the street, and 3 drugstores in that same block. There are some restaurants within walking distance that are open until at least 9pm (if not later). It gave us options other than the hotel restaurant. We found the prices were a tad on the high side for what it was.

We walked through most of the town, which was very cute and quaint. There is a Edeka grocery store right next to the sister hotel which was very convenient so we could pick up extra water. You may want to stop by the Nurburging Fan shop 2 blocks away - worthwhile if you want to purchase some souvenirs.

10 minutes or so from nordschleife.

We reserved a romantic room in the old hotel which was nicely refurbished and looked out over the main street. Quality furnishings and very comfortable and clean. Super bathroom. Parking is a joke if you have a large car or 4X4 but they found us street parking outside the sister hotel. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. We prebooked the restaurant well in advance and checked on arrival. All was okay., but when it came to going to the restaurant it was full - they offered a table in the bar which was not suitable. We had to wait 45 minutes and was then presented with unordered food as they decided we were on a table d'hote tariff. No menu - nothing. We then got the a la carte menu. The choice was not great and in fairness the food was good quality and prepared well. The serving staff in the restaurant were not good - I could go on but won't.! Breakfast was good however.
Shame as the restaurant staff let down on otherwise good meal. Oh yes and the next day was no better but there was not a wait for the table. Could be 4 stars if they got it sorted.

We booked the Blaue Ecke but I guess they were full so we were allocated a room at the 'sister' establishment down the road, the Wildes S???. Room was clean but very dated and in need of a refurb. Staff all very nice and helpful though, Breakfast good. Used the restaurant at the Blaue Ecke, nice food, fair price and friendly service.

Like many, I assume, we were there to visit and use the Nuburgring, so a perfect location and for a couple of nights, it was fine. Didn't see the rooms at the Blaue Ecke but I'm guessing they are a bit more up to date.
