The food was OK but:
1. There was no fresh fish on the menu.
2. One waiter accidentally threw some dishes with other costumers' leftovers on my neck. A simple "sorry" was what i got.
3. It was the first time for me that after a bill of 75 euros there was no fruit or anything at all served.

After hearing the reviews from locals, we headed to Nisaki! A lovely location and a lovely atmosphere. We spent 5 days in Gytheio and every day we were there! Each day was a taste adventure...For example, we had the amazing Greek wine, grilled cheese, a juicy-fresh salad, tzatziki, grilled souvlaki, and a massive Greek plate with pasta and egg on top! If you like eggs you should try it..it is traditional and very delicious. All these for 35 Euros with some extra drinks. We celebrated our last night in Gytheio with a cocktail party at the bar! Overall, we were very satisfied with the quality, the prices, and the customer service.

We ate at the Nisaki, recently while on a holiday in Gythio. This is a great restaurant, offering large portions of excellent quality food at very reasonable prices. The proprietor and staff were very friendly.

The restaurant is set at the end of a causeway, just behind another restaurant, Nisus. The views of the main Gythio town are superb. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.
