We went to Elias' Garden for lunch based on the trip advisor ranking and reviews and are so glad that we did! The on-the-house tzatziki and cheese spreads that came with olives were both incredibly tasty. We ordered the sauteed mushrooms, which were delicious, especially with the garlic puree that accompanied them. The cabbage, carrot and pepper salad was so much better than we have had anywhere else - that touch of ginger made this simple dish an unexpectedly delicious part of our meal. And, we savored ever bite of the roasted peppers and tomatoes stuffed with perfectly seasoned rice, remarking that this was our favorite dish thus far in our Greecian travels! In addition to raving about their food, the staff provided that perfect balance of friendliness and attentiveness without hovering. They were truly pleased that we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. So, even though the restaurant was on the outskirts of town and we almost abandoned our search to find it, we can't recommend it enough. A true gem that you must try if your travels take you through the Meteora area!
