This place was recommended to me by my host and he did not fail. What I like most is the local vibe, they have a duo singing local song as you eat your dinner. Although the roasted sardines was not up to par with what I had in Athens, the roasted peppers were spot on. Would highly recommend.

The owner was very friendly and made us wonderful yet traditional vegan foods! The taverna itself was very authentic and was located next to the Meteora!

We traveled Greece for 10 days and this was the most 'really Greek' restaurant we had. they had live beautiful Greek music when we were there (but not loud), the owner was very friendly and the food was very good.
We came back the next day for lunch!

Good food. Good staff. Good music. We just find by change in a rainy evening. Oy was full but in 5 minutes we sat in a table. Do not miss this place.

This place is very charming. The staff stay very busy but are able to maintain a true affection for their customers. In the evening a couple of older musicians play traditional Greek music while sipping on wine in a corner adding a lovely ambience. The food is delicious but that baklava. That baklava. It is served with a vanilla ice cream and has a strong cinnamon influence which I have never experienced with this dessert in the past even after having tried many divine baklavas in Turkey too! Came back for a second night just for dessert :) Charming staff as well!
