Stayed at Famissi for 1 night as part of the Cosmos tour. Comfortable hotel in Kalambaka. We had dinner in the hotel which was nice. Wi fi in the lobby was okay. A nice little town, with a main street scattered with a few restaurants, souvenir shops, convenience store.

While the rooms are about 3 star standard, they are very comfortable. The view from the back is amazing. Make sure you book a back room so you can enjoy the awesome view from the balcony. Would certainly come back and stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to visit Greece again.

We were just up 2 floors up from the main street, facing the road, and motor bikes just kept going all night (there must have been a rally in Kalambaka). Very noisy! The room was comfortable, but the shower/bathroom was very dated and definately needs a make over. The breakfast was very limited and, even though they had bread, it was a bit on the stale side. While advertising free wi-fi in the rooms, the hotel said that someone had tried to 'hack' them, so internet was only available in the lobby.
I spoke to some people on the other side of the hotel (with spectacular views of the Meteroa) who really enjoyed the Famissi. However, our experience was not very enjoyable.

Room Tip: If you stay here, make sure you get the 'back' of the hotel facing the views.
