After we checked in, we had to order quickly as the restaurant was closing at 8:45. The beet salad was so refreshing and then had a Irish coffee with the apple tart for dessert on the patio.
Rooms were spacious with great views and a large french door to let the ocean breeze in.

We found the Bayview Hotel a perfect spot to start our drive around the Republic of Ireland. Coming upon the hotel just before a beautiful sunset will leave memories for the four of us for a lifetime.

The staff was extremely helpful about the area and in helping with computer issues. Our rooms were very large and comfortable with stunning views of the ocean. Each room was wonderfully appointed with tea/coffee in the rooms along with TV and upscale amenities. A lovely staircase led to the rocky coast where we saw both sunrises and sunsets.

We loved the food served in the bar--choosing to go the more casual route. We were able to take walks in the area to see more of this beautiful part of Ireland. We found the people of Ballycotton extremely charming and helpful everywhere we went.

We highly recommend this hotel to all.

We visited the Bayview hotel as part of a short break in Ireland. The hotel is charming, has lovely character. The initial welcome was lukewarm but overall the staff were excellent. I recommend that you choose an evening meal package as the food is the best I have tasted in a long time. Ballycotton is a very quiet place to visit and ideal place to escape for a romantic night or two. Car required.

What a lovely little hotel. Very relaxed atmosphere. Perfect to get away for a night from the kids. We decided to make this our special get away in future. Very reasonable and close enough to the city

We were an extended family group of 16 over-nighting in this hotel to celebrate a special occasion
A wonderful time was had by all. The staff are very friendly and extremely efficient. The weather was wonderful and allowed us to have lunch on the terrace - food was great and the view even better. Dinner that night was in the lovely dining room, service, food and ambiance were great and really liked the extra little touch of the personalized menu.
Bedroom on the first floor was beautiful and spotlessly clean and had the added advantage of french doors which we left open all night and were awoken to the dawn chorus and the most amazing sunrise over the harbour. Loved it all

We decided to go on a spur of the moment weekend away and hotel availability was limited so we initially thought we would have to split our 2 night stay in 2 hotels, however thanks to Margaret on front desk being extremely helpful we didn't have to - thanks Margaret :)
This hotel is a gem, it's not somewhere I would normally pick as I like my 5 star luxury but this is the perfect hotel. Its rooms are a good size, the sea view is stunning, the food amazing and whilst the breakfast is not the most extensive I have had it is one of the nicest! Fresh appears to be the word of the day here, everything is so so fresh it's just divine.
I can't say enough good about this hotel from the food to the staff to the atmosphere, everything is just the way it should be. Thank you for a lovely, very relaxing weekend get away - we will be back!

Room Tip: All have a sea view so u can't lose!

Stayed here last summer, we had a fantastic time as the weather was great and it was great waking up to the view of the bay. The food was good except for when we were having lunch on the terrace and an unusual looking spider emerged from the bottom of the lettuce leaves of our lunch, we discreetly called the waiter over who offered a replacement lunch but our appetite was gone. The rest of our stay was very enjoyable. We filled out the comment card including our unfortunate spider incident but to date have had no response which I found a poor reflection of the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view, the rooms with a balcony are not really worth the extra as there is only standin...
