“Beautiful, peaceful retreat, away from it all.”
Reviewed 2 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Lovely cosy cottage up in the hills, surrounded by woodland. But only 10 mins from Supervalu in Killybegs, 15 mins from gorgeous Finntra beach. Also a short drive to Ardara and stunning Magheragh beach. The road running past the house is so quiet that only a handful of cars pass each day. Perfect for those into hiking, cycling or for artists. Our kids loved it too.

“Peaceful, secluded, get-away in beautiful location”
Reviewed 30 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place! The secluded cottage was ideal for our honeymoon (with our wee dog). Thatched roof, stone floors in main room and kitchen, wood/peat burner, very comfy bed, and great garden space to relax or play with the dog. Only 10 minutes in the car from Killybegs and local amenities, and a great base to explore the area. Fintragh Bay beach, just outside Killybegs, was excellent for daily dogs walks. People were really welcoming and friendly, and owners Sean and Glenda even left a welcoming card and gift for our honeymoon. The cottage was clean, well maintained and had all the facilities you might need/expect. The electric cooker was a bit old and the hot water/shower took a little figuring out, but we managed fine. Mobile phone/data coverage is not great at this location, and the wifi is provided via a mobile 'dongle'. Proper wifi would have been a huge bonus. All-in-all a great hide-away in a beautiful location - highly recommended for a peaceful escape.

Beautiful clean wee cottage just outside killybegs, set in its own little forest so secluded and yet just a 10 minute drive to the fishing port town with everything you d need butchers, chemist and a large SuperValu. Beautiful beaches. The cottage had everything you need so cosy and a really comfortable bed, nothing could improve this cottage thanks to the owners for sharing it for others will definitely be back

“Perfect out of town break.”
Reviewed 24 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

If you like the outdoors long walks and nights by the fireplace you will enjoy the Cons Cottage. We had this opportunity to spend a week in this beautiful spot and enjoyed every minute of it. We will be back next year summer time as the days are longer and we could spend more time outdoors and use more daily light at the cottage. We were not disturbed by the owners and managed well all the available facilities in place.
Wi-fi access would be an advantage.
