Radharc an Oileain B&B
Ranked #4 of 10 Dungloe B&B and Inns
Reviewed 4 July 2011

We have stayed in quite a few B&B's the length and breath or Ireland and can honestly say this one was head and shoulders above them all. The friendliness of the owner (Grace), the room & ensuite, the extras in the room and the food were all first class. We could not recommend it highly enough if you are looking for somewhere to stay around the Dungloe area.

I cannot tell you what a pleasure it was to stay with Grace. I was traveling with my older parents as we traced the steps of my grandparents and visited with relatives. From the moment we arrived Grace opened her home and heart to us.

Her breakfasts are amazing and will fill you up for the entire day.

I highly recommend staying here and will be back in the future with more family to experience the best of Ireland!

Myself and hubby stayed in this beautiful part of the country recently while attending a friend's wedding. This B&B was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Grace, the lady who runs the place was one of the nicest and most friendly people I have ever met. She could not do enough for us. The room was beautifully appointed and full of little extra touches which made our stay so special. The breakfast was delicious and the views from the dining room are amazing. A definate must for anyone travelling to Dungloe.

I arrived in Dungloe by bus, with backpack and tent and no reservations for a place to stay. Arrived at the front door of Radharc an Oileain and could not have been made more welcome with hot tea, biscuits, and the offer of a huge gorgeous room all to myself. The tent was tucked away for the stormy night and I was treated to the warmth and comfort of a giant bed, thick comfy duvet, an enormous shower, tea-coffee facility in my room, a breakfast fit for three or four kings in the morning and even a ride to the bus stop after breakfast. If you are looking for incredible hospitality, room and food, look no further than the McCauley family B&B--Radharc an Oileain.

Would highly recommend this for couples, or families with young children. We were welcomed with nice cups of tea/coffee on arrival after a long car journey. We could come and go as we pleased. Great breakfast provided. set us up for the day. Location within walking distance of town centre (shops, pubs & restaurants), beautiful view of the bay and Arran Island. Short car journey to the beach and short car journey to lochaniuir gaeltacht.

The house is conveniently located, off the main road, but close to the town (walking distance) and within driving distance of a scenic coast road and a beach. Our rooms were large and so were the bathrooms and closets. Our hostess was very cordial, well informed about the area, and eager to please. On arrival we were greeted with coffee, tea, and muffins. We had an excellent breakfast is a lovely breakfast room with views out to the ocean.

Lovely bungalow with long distance views. Beautifully decorated room and spotlessly clean. Had a superb and plentiful breakfast. Grace was a very welcoming and gracious hostess and made us tea and coffee and biscuits and cakes when we arrived. Wouldn't hesitate to go again and recommend it to friends.
