My husband & i recently spend the weekend at The Sandhouse Hotel for a mini break away, the hotel was reccommeded to us by a friend & it did not dissapoint. Our room was great looking right on to the beach the view was amazing. the staff were very lovely any time i approched reception they were very help & always asking was everything ok. the food was really impressive and breakfast was served to us which i like & had a selection instead of us a fry. 1 of the nights we went into the bar & there was lively music we had a great night. All in all we left very happy with our weekend away, great locationn - Donegal is beautiful, good food & to round of the weekend we both has a lovely treatment in the hotel spa.

I recently stayed in the sandhouse with my partner and we really enjoyed our stay! Staff were really friend and help us explore the South Donegal Area. Hotel itself is clean, food was delicious and view was breathtaking. we attended a party in the hotel itself and I got my makeup done in the spa. Staff again were very pleasant and accomodating as we booked last minute.
I will be revisiting the hotel the next chance I get. I highly recommend it!!

We recently spent 3 nights at the Sandhouse Hotel and had a great experience. It is located south of Donegal so out of the hubbub but an easy drive to reach downtown. It's on a great beach and the sunset views is magnificent. Our room was spacious with a commanding view of the beach. The hotel staff is most attentive. The dining room where we had a dinner and all our breakfasts also overlooked the beach. All in all a great stay!!! Skip & Fran, Northville, MI

We booked in for a Father's Day lunch yesterday. We sat upstairs and the view was amazing. We had a great table, excellent service and lovely food. We had 4 young children in our party and the choice of children's food was very good. The lunch was reasonably priced too. We finished with a walk along the beautiful Rossnowlagh beach - the perfect location!

Upon checking in we were going to visit some sites around the area but once we saw the hotel and our rooms overlooking the beach we opted to stay put. After lunch which was quite nice we walked the beach and coastal area for stunning views. The dinner and the next morning for breakfast we sat at the same table overlooking the beach and hills. Can't say enough for the abundance of tasty food. It is all served by great staff with nice presentation. The bar and the surf bar had great happy staff too. Sure, the rooms and bathrooms need some TLC but it can be overlooked for the overall memories of the hotel. The employees, food and scenery make it so worthwhile a stay!

Room Tip: Won't regret room with a view of the beach and hills.
