“Filthy. Never again!”

Stayed at this hotel as we had an early morning flight. We booked two rooms. Both rooms were very dirty and smelly. One of the rooms had a sticky liquid on the bedside lockers and chocolate wrappers in the lockers. On the sideboard was some sort of dust/powder. The carpet was stained and dirty. Lots of things broken, stained, dirty in both rooms. I would drive the few hours in future rather than stay at this hotel as did not benefit as couldn't sleep with the smell and surroundings. Feel sick thinking about it as I write this.

Booked through laterooms.com we got at the reception and the lady at the desk looked fed up, like she was making us a favour to check us in.
I think we got one of the worste rooms in the hotel, as it wasn't very clean, the blankets were old and you could hear the people from outside the building messing arouund, not good at all when you are trying to sleep!? I don't think I will go back again there.

Room Tip: Try to ask for a room at the back, so might get some sleep

We came from a not as bad Travelodge in Waterford, on our way beck to the airport stayed the last night here........I can identify with all the guests photos........It was VERY tired, dirty & dingy. The restaurant was actually surprisingly good & service was good although it was very quiet. It is in the middle of nowhere if you don't have a car..........Was there with a disabled senior & child ...& again, like the other Travelodge NOT disabled friendly. Now have stayed at a Premiere Inn, we know better. I think we only paid 34 Euros but would have paid double to have a nice clean well maintained room!!! Lots of things were broken within the room too...........

Room Tip: Don't wasted time asking for disabled room..........

We stayed one night after arriving from Dublin Airport late at night. The young man at reception was very nice,we asked him was there a lift he told us no so he took our heavy suitcase upstairs for us. Everything in room was ok, bed was comfortable etc. However, while we were having breakfast the following morning,a massive row broke out in the kitchen between two members of waiting staff. Their argument could be heard clearly in the dining and it escalated when they began to argue in the dining room in front of us and other guests, We found this very uncomfortable and felt that the staff in question were very unprofessional. We were very disappointed as we felt the hotel was good value for money.

When we arrived we didn't get the room we had booked, as hotel was full. The service was inadequate. The room was dirty, dull and smelly! I'm 39wks pregnant + had to sleep on mattress on floor as the bed was of such poor quality! The bathroom was yuke, broken toilet seat. Not even a bar of soap offered. Provided one cup for tea....in a family room! The noise level from room upstairs was outrageous! So I'm afraid for a hotel in Dublin, bitterly dissatisfied with standard.

I am so sorry that your stay with us was less than satisfactory. It appears that we definitely failed when it comes to housekeeping in your instance. My staff and I reviewed each of your comments and have taken appropriate action to resolve each issue in the room you occupied. In addition, we are re-evaluating our inspection processes to ensure these type of issues do not occur in the future. Again, we are terribly sorry that your first experience with Travelodge was not a good one, but invite you to give us another try. We greatly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us to improve and provide a better experience.

Kind Regards

Alun Friswell

stayed for one night after arriving from Dublin Airport in the early hours, thought the room was spacious and bright and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom, a large double comfy bed plus a single bed even though there were only two of us, would have no hesitation in staying again
