From arriving at this welcoming restaurant until we left this was truly a delicious experience! We visited on Easter Sunday evening expecting it to be busy, this was not the case, most of the diners appeared to be residents hence no window seats available!- we were pleasantly relieved as service and ambience was totally professional and relaxed (apart from the couple sitting in the corner at the window across from us they had a heated situation between themselves which was loud enough to be embarrassing to other diners, was glad when they left!!) Food was of an extremely high standard, we both had the chefs taster, the scallop starter tingled taste buds and was a delicious foretaste of what was to come, I had the sirloin cooked exactly as I asked medium rare, the flavour and accompaniments complimenting the steak perfectly, their chef excelled! Paul was trusted to choose between the lamb and duck for my husband and his choice of duck did not disappoint, beautiful! First time to visit this restaurant and will not be the last, thank you!
