Took a weekend down here with the lads at the start of April and had an awesome time!! 1hr 15 mins from Belfast. Place was easy to find, loads of car parking space, well laid out accomodation with everything you need. Stayed in 'The Stables' accomodation. Carlingford is just up the road - 5 mins in a taxi - and the nightlife was great!! The owners are very polite and friendly and the accomodation costs proved excellent value for money - will def return! Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Room Tip: All rooms are the bizz! plus theres one with an en-suite, make sure your in the door first and turn...

Our party of 20 people stayed in the Courtyard on 14/15 June last. We rented the ‘Forge’, ‘Stables’ and ‘Tearaway’ houses. The owners were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts, such lovely warm people, The accommodation was top notch!! Spotless clean, spacious, loads of hot water, lovely comfortable beds, houses were always warm. Felt like a home away from home, so cosy. Everyone really loved the place and enjoyed their stay and we will definitely be back! 10 out of 10 from us! Highly recommended. Thanks guys for everything x

The courtyard is a set of tastefully refurbished stables, located close to scenic Carlingford. Friendly and helpful hosts, clean and spacious accommodation at a very reasonable rate. Went there for a weekend with friends but would go back again with family. Highly recommended, 5/5.

The family stayed at The Courtyard over the Easter weekend to finish up our vacation from the U.S. in Ireland and the children began to ask why we hadn't come directly there and spent our entire two weeks! It's that wonderful a place. Great hosts, convenient location, spotless and beautifully appointed accommodations; I can't think of a thing that would have made our visit better. We've been home a couple of months and I'm already being asked by the children when we can go back, again. The Courtyard receives (and deserves) our highest recommendation.

We give the Courtyard full marks. We stayed in Tearaways, it was clean and every needed amenity was provided. Bathrooms had power showers and good linens. The open plan kitchen/living room was large and modern with vaulted ceiling, comfy sofas and a gas stove. Bedroom furniture was from Ikea, but the beds were comfortable and the linens clean and crisply ironed. The owners were there when we arrived to answer questions and give suggestions of things to do in the area; and throughout our stay they were always accommodating. We didn’t do much except relax, which made comfort and cleanliness even more important to us. We loved morning walks around the shore, even in the rain! There’s a great wee pub under a mile away and some very good restaurants in Carlingford – The Kingfisher was a stand out.

Room Tip: All the cottages seem of the same high standard - some even newer than the one we stayed in.
