Really good quality produce, well prepared & presented. Perfect for lunch or an afternoon snack. Cute decor - Victorian tea room style without being stuffy.

My sister and I stopped by this place for afternoon tea while biking the greenway! Staff was very friendly and the food was great- they even have somewhere to park your bikes while you visit. I’ve recommended it to many people already and will continue to :)

Just popped in for a quick cuppa before the cycle, greeted by the smell of lemon cake! Had a lovely pot of tea, really generous, interior is really cute with little tea sets on each table, server was very plesant and sweet. Great to walk in and see smiling staff, happy staff happy customers

The Blue Bicycle Tearooms is located in a 17th century, stone-fronted house in the centre of Newport and to the right of Hotel Newport. The Tearooms is listed in the are now listed on the Georgina Campbell guide and the Gourmet Greenway Brochure. It is located close to the Great Western Greenway and is a popular stop for many people. The Tearooms serve freshly freshly baked and locally sourced fresh food. You can dine inside or outside as they have a lovely Victorian garden. They are famous for their afternoon teas served on vintage bone china. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere too.

I stopped in here with some friends while cycling the Greenway on a sunny Sunday afternoon in May 2018. The place is pleasant, staff friendly and there is a large outdoor area out the back where you can sit and put your bikes. The tart and cakes that we had were very nice but at €5 each for a small slice I would rate this as expensive. Coffee etc was around €2.50 which is standard price.
