Earl's Kitchen is a bit small and cramped but the food is good and the staff are friendly. I'd have preferred a little less salad and a little more quiche. The owners need to ensure that the toilet id kept clean and stocked with toilet roll.

Had a delightful lunch here today - Fabulous home made soup and brown bread. Chicken Crumble was terrific and the only problem with desserts was making up our minds which to go for. Highly recommend.

Had a coffee and a sandwich. Nothing crazy about it. What i did not like was the fact i could not pay by card. Was in navan for work purp. Stopped for a quick bite. And had only 5 euro cash, but was not bothered cause everywhere these days you can pay by visa or laser. Not there tho. Felt like an idiot when the woman told me they dont take cards, had to wonder around to find atm so i could pay.

This delightful little cafe/ restaurant opened some years ago and was just what was needed in Navan Town. It is open all day until 5.30 for coffee, snacks, lunch and all the food is cooked on the premises and is generally of a high standard. There is a carry out service too if you wish and their cakes, breads, preserves and chutney are on sale too . I have always found visiting Earl's Kitchen a treat but one Friday recently I was disappointed when I found that my slice of lemon drizzle cake was stale and that it had obviously been given a 10 second 'dart' in the microwave in the hope of 'freshening' it up; I could feel that it was slightly warm at the upper half of the slice.I didn't complain as I was a bit taken aback by this new standard and hoped that this may have just been a 'once off' occurrence, however there are other cafe/restaurants in Navan and maybe next time I am in the town I will try one of these. One other little 'crib' ...could Earl's Kitchen do something about having only one toilet....... which is communal!
