After a two week trip around Ireland this was our last stop (just the one night). We didn't get to spend much time with Nora, but we had a great takeaway breakfast for our early morning departure. Peter was wonderfully helpful, not only for the call ahead connection to Newgrange - or the directions that were more trustworthy than the GPS, but when we returned our rental car got a flat tire. He was a great resource to help get a resolution before we left at 5:30am to catch our flight home. Clearly a believer in going above and beyond average.

Peter and Nora are a wonderful experience and they serve with a great attitude. They are often helping people with "where to go and how to get there". I would recommend this B&B to anyone.

Stayed at Ash Cottage for 6 nights with my Wife and 2 close friends. Realized early on that we had chosen well and felt immediately at ease with our hosts Peter and Nora and of course our accommodation. Clean rooms with comfy bed and on suite . Shower was spacious and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Have no concerns about staying here. A professionally run business where the customer comes first. Highly recommended.
Thanks to Peter and Nora for helping to make our visit to Ireland an enjoyable one.

Stayed here whilst visiting family in town, and now that there are 5 of us (three boisterous kids) we decided not to stop at their houses.

We stayed in the family room and booked an extra room (which was a twin), and was opposite the family room. Both had en-suite shower rooms, and we all had a good night's sleep on both nights.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with suggesting places to visit during our stay, and we will definitely return when

Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day.

We visited the Aviva stadium for a tour in Dublin on the day we arrived, and went to Newgrange on the day we left - we arrived a bit too late to see Newgrange (as the tours get booked up early) to be able to get back to Dublin in time for the flight, so went to Knowth instead, which was well worth the visit.

Good, clean, and pleasant. Just what the weary traveler needs to rest. Within walking distance of a great pub for dinner and stroll. Our room was clean, pleasant and above all, comfortable sleeping arrangements. Peter was a very nice host, the breakfast was great, the atmosphere like home. Never expected such a cozy place just off the main route.

Room Tip: parking on premises, rooms are cozy, and the hosts full of information and helpful driving hints. De...

Not fancy but a good, clean, basic place to stay that is quiet and off the main drag. We were well welcomed and our room was very sufficient for our needs. Peter freely offered information about the area and answered our many questions. Navan was nice for an after dinner stroll and many attractions were easily reached from Ash Cottage.

The location of this b&b is very good for sight seeing, and for us was a very convenient stop as we got close to Dublin and the end of our trip. Peter was very good to us, making us tea in the common area, and drawing maps of where we should go. He also took the time to help us prioritize our goals for the next day to ensure that we got everything in. Very friendly people. Breakfast was not buffet style, as we had found elsewhere, however we were offered a selection of food in the morning and had more than enough to eat. Note: no toiletries provided in the room.
