Earlier this year we spent some days in Ireland, and we decided to spend it in this lovely camp site.
To be honest, this was a very good campsite, and I did visit lots of them in the past 10 years, in different countries.

My family and myself decided to try some glamping at Hare' s Leap . It was perfect .The Accommodation was five star from merino wool bed covers to custom made furniture . The whole area was great fun for the kids with loads to do and explore . Nicola was the perfect host , all smiles and welcome . The facilities we're excellent and we helped ourselves to some great coffee settled down beside the wood burning stove and chilled out . The long drop loo took a little getting used to but was fine . The shower facilities were modern & clean . We helped with the straw bailed house by getting really muddy & messy ( kids love it , mums nit so much ! ) We did nt have time to try the Electric bikes this time but the journey along the Boyne Valley looks fab. We' re going to go back with some friends and can't wait to sit around the fire on a summer night and soak up everything this wonderful place has to offer.

Room Tip: Shhh .. Ask for HOLLY !

I staid at Hare's Leap in the summer - it was one of the most magical experiences.
I was with my 10 year old daughter and friends with children too.
The hot tub when not stuffed full of children was a luxury. The yurt was extremely comfortable as good as a 5 star hotel

Room Tip: Choose a yurt

We stayed in a shepherds hut when we were attending the Bon jovi gig in June. It was raining heavily when we got there so the site was quite muddy but that's to be expected, you are in a field after all!! The shepherds hut was very clean and comfortable. The bed is quite high but once we got over the fear of falling out of it we had a good nights sleep! Shower facilities were excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the lift down the road to the concert site. Would definetly stay again if going to a concert, it is so convenient! It was expensive but if I had to go looking for a bus and sit on it for hours I'd give any money for a bed so was worth it!!

We stayed at Hare's Leap for a 40th and loved every minute of it. I'm used to camping being a pretty basic experience, so 'glamping' was new to me. Let's just say after this I don't think I'll be roughing it again anytime soon. Our yurt was perfection: big and warm, huge comfy bed, with another single bed for our daughter, lovely sheets, fluffy towels, local soaps and shampoos. The showers were like being at a spa. Kitchen facilities all top notch. The kitchen and communal living area were perfect for the large gathering with indoor and outdoor spaces for everyone to hang out. Days were spent watching the kids explore the great outdoors, swimming in the river, splashing in the Eco-friendly hot tub or lazily swinging from trees. It was a perfect little paradise... Highly recommended.
