A gem in the town of Castlerea. Met up with friends who recommended Bennys. My wife being Coeliac was pleasantly surprised by the choice and range of gluteen free food on offer ( baked on site). Will definitely be returning to Bennys next 58me 8n the...areaMore
A great cafe. We enjoyed the food andit my partner loving the chicken switch. The place had a really cosy feel to it. Staff were very friendly throughout.
Had a lovely visit to Benny's for lunch while visiting Castlerea. The sandwiches were delicious. We especially loved the coffee and croissants. They also have a kids menu which is great for fussy kids! My kids had clean plates! The staff were all super friendly and...helpful. Benny's also has a well stocked deli. The sourdough and soda bread were excellent and the apple tart was so good. It was great to see that Benny's have so many local suppliers and stock products from all over Ireland. Also loved the decor and all the different plates the food was served on. Looking forward to popping in again next time we're in Castlerea.More
I ordered a coffee and a simple ham sandwich on white bread. I waited 15 minutes - no sandwich. I had to ask for it to go as I needed to collect my car - the sanwich was only then just being thrown together (it...was thrown together - and had a bucket of mayonnaise in the middle :( ) I was charge €9.95 for a basic ham sandwich and a coffee which is simply outrageous under any circumstances. There were a lot of staff milling about whilst I was there, and yet people were queing in the deli - the place felt a little chaotic to me. I wouldn't go back.More
Was in Castletea for a Morning Appointment, visited Benny’s Deli for Breakfast, very busy place, staff very friendly & food freshly cooked to order
My mother and I stumbled across this lovely cafe last Tuesday. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, both the savoury and sweet treats (I would recommend the humus bagel). I don't usually write reviews, but I thought this place was...worth highlighting! We will definitely be returning to this cafe again.More
We were staying in the area and made it our business to visit Benny's each day! Covid restrictions meant that indoor dining was not possible but there are some tables on the pavement outside. The coffee is great and the selection of cakes and savoury...dishes is very impressive. Definitely worth a visit!More
I can not express enough how much I love this place. Bakery is so good, must be best breads in Ireland, not to mention variety of cakes and buns. Food is always quality and very fresh. The staff is very pleasant, overall atmosphere is lovely...and relaxing. This is what you call a proper deli place with traditional feel to it.More
Beautiful food best soup and brown bread ever just a little cramped prices are average don't mind paying for quality
Lovely menu but you can create your own choice too. Refills of tea 😁. Make sure to try the deserts or bring something home. Particularly the apple tart. Friendly staff too.

We stopped here for lunch. The food is freshly made daily. The sandwiches were excellent. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The bakery items also looked delicious.
Arrived late afternoon in Castlrea hungry for coffee and a sandwich-average would have done but what a surprise when we walked into Denny's. Got our soup, delicious sandwich with their own baked ham, coffee and then splurged out on take away wines and cakes!!!
