A long narrow dining room with close seating is neither relaxing nor intimate. There is an atmosphere though - If you enjoy the bustle of a dining room you can, while you eat watch the extremely busy kitchen at work or admire some of the good art work hung around the room.
The menu sports a good early bird options, so get there before 7 and take advantage of a narrower but better value selection.
It's an ambitious menu, a little of everything, so no matter what type of food you have a hankering for, you'll probably find something to match here. The steak was great as was the shrimp on a separate occasion. The wine menu is varied, if not deep and the deserts are hearty and decorative.
They do a roaring trade in take out so the kitchen is busy even when the dining room isn't quite full. But it doesn't stay empty for long. This is a popular place with good reason.
It's decent value and good food and nice friendly service makes for an enjoyable dining experience.
