Marie Antoinette greeted us at the door and was embarrassed the room wasn't finished yet. She showed us anyway and we were happy with the quaint room and excellent location. It was about 50 meters from the main piazza next to an old church in a very medieval looking building. The room was simple with a small balcony and tv that we never turned on once during our two nights. Shared bathroom was very clean and since nobody else was staying we had it all to ourselves. The shower head fell off the wall so had to use it as a hand held one which was fine. Breakfast is simple- tea and coffee and very sugary treats that is hard to stomach for breakfast. Perhaps some fresh bread or a croissant would suffice for tourists used to savoury breakfast. Marie Antoinette made sure we were comfortable and was very sweet. The town is small but get up to the tourist information for loads of brochures on the Enna province. Loads of historical sites to see- my highlight was the Roman house/ castle full of impeccable mosaics. Well worth the drive and the 10 euro entry fee.
