“Comfortable hotel with friendly staff in the old part of the city of Enna”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

We had a great two day stay in this hotel in the heart of the old part of Enna. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a fantastic panoramic view from the balcony. Breakfasts were good and dinner served in the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good and it was a delight being surrounded by local families who gathered there for dinner on the Saturday evening. It is very good value for money and parking was available in the piazza outside the hotel..

Room Tip: Ask for panoramic view

We lived and worked in Enna 9 years ago and we said if we returned we would stay at this hotel.
We came and we stayed, the staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfasts were good.
Any problems were sorted out quickly. The only downside was wifi was only downstairs and not in the rooms, but it wasn't a huge issue.
There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room but you could go downstairs and have beautiful coffee made for you. Is it worth staying here......yes

I was one night in Hotel. Room was very small, it was cold, bathroom only for very slim persons and in bad condition. But most of all bothered me attitude to guests.

At the breakfeast one elder lady was standing at the door of the dining room and watching us what we are doing.

When I finished the breakfast I took just one orange in order to eat it later on the bus.

Women came to me and said it is prohibited, to bear out food from the restaurant.

I was stunned ...never before happened to me something like that ...Sicily is country of oranges...lying on the floor like garbage.

Luckily, bad impression later corrected our bus driver from Sicily.

On the market, he bought for us (all bus of 40 ppl) one big bin of oranges ...mostly sicilians are very nice and kind people but this woman does really bad marketing for the turisem.

Anyway if you go there be prepared it could be very cold because city is cca 1000 m above sea level, but is very nice old city .

The hotel is located in the old center of the town of Anna. Central to most websites that you can visit in the city.
Relatively spacious rooms, there is a mini bar, room clean and staff very friendly and interested in offering help to target patrols in the city and region.
Breakfast is rich and varied freestyle.

Room Tip: Request a room on a high floor have less street noise.

Hotel Sicilia offers clean. cheery, spacious rooms, a great restaurant, good breakfasts, and a central location on a pretty plaza with some parking out front. After a day of sight seeing, it's comforting to not have to forage for a restaurant--one of the best's right in house.

We arrived to Enna late in day and thankfully they had rooms available. We opted for superior room which was the roomiest in our time in Italy as we were generally staying in B&Bs. Very modern and spacious bathroom as well. View of Piazza below. Very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast buffet good and was included. Restaurant downstairs ok. Friendly and helpful service.

Room Tip: Chose the corner room with view over town square as it was quiet location.

This is a curious hotel, gives the impression of being quite old, but with a recent make-over which didn't really work.
Reception was manned by three men in very casual dress, they looked like they were minding the place for someone. But everyone was friendly, insofar as we had cause to actually interact with anyone at all.
Our room looked over the town, which being on a hilltop, makes for truly wonderful views. However there was a lot of fog which came and went, so often there was no view at all.
The breakfast room has huge windows, again with great views. the food was so-so.
Our room had recently been freshened up, however it was not well finished. The bathroom window had a large gap between it and the wall, not open to the outside but not finished at all. It was a good size, and the fittings were a curious mix of old and new. It is as if after the recent make over they could not decide what to do with the old stuff, so they put it back in the rooms with the new stuff. A bit strange.
But all in all, it was a clean and comfortable hotel.
Its at the very top of the town, near the Castello, so follow those signs, if you find any!
The town itself is a one way system for traffic, the drivers think they are in a rally, its quite hair-raising to navigate the place on foot.
We found a cafe in the town centre and had an enjoyable time watching the traffic, lots of near misses and horn blaring.
We would not be anxious to stay in this hotel again, nothing special about it at all. Nothing particularly wrong with it either, to be fair.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a view over the town
