Scarisoara is one of the most beautiful natural wonders of Romania. A must-go when in Transylvania. It's funny that even when outside it is 35 degrees, in the cave, the temperature is about 0 degrees. Unfortunately, it is hard to reach. (it can be reached just by the car. the road is well kept).

Not much to say, as images (especially the real ones, seen through own eyes) say 1000 words. One recommendation: go there in the early noon, or after a rainy period. The scene of the moist and steam floating up is amazing.

Go see one of the largest underground deposits of ice, but make sure it is in springtime. August and September turns the cave into a large pool. Great access by car by the way

Spectacular entry which takes you to the interior of the Earth. After going down over 50 meters, you discover a big block of ice (an average of 16 m thick) very well preserved by the cold temperature in the underground.
