In contrast to the castle of Count Dracula, this is a beautiful, historical castle that is well worth a stop. It it filled with history and examples of the arts and crafts of the relevant period. A lot to see and learn.

It's a nice castle with a variety of styles and great view. It is worth going atleast once.
If you want to take pictures inside there is a 35 Lei tax that you have to pay even tho ppl were able to avoid paying it by being sneaky with the phones.

The castle is very beautiful;the interior is stunning with gorgeously carved furniture;the theater inside the castle has wonderfull paintings by Klimt. The castle is located in a charming setting with mountains around it.
I recommend visiting both the first and the second level and also paying the photo fee(35 lei-about 9$) as photo ops abound.

I have a penchant for castles, but Peles is hands down the most ornate and detailed I have ever visited, and I have been to Neushwenstein! Get the extra upstairs ticket too. Def worth every cent. Think we paid 60lei each.

A delightful castle in a most impressive setting. Plenty of excellent carpentry and wood carving to see inside. If you can, include the upstairs level in your tour. It is much quieter and is a treat to see. They run guided tours, but you do not have to do this - we didn’t, so we had time to linger and read the information in each room.
There are a couple of car parks as you enter the access road. Costs 15lei and is well organised. If they are full you can park quite close on the main road.
