Vila Camelia is a pleasant hotel in Sinaia. The hotel is up the hill from the main street in town but is only a short walk (5 mins) from bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the room was quite spacious with a lbig balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. The hotel was not as plush as it looks on the website but for the price was more than acceptable. We had some confusion over the breakfasst price which was stated at 24 euros per person per day on our invoice before we arrived. Thinking was a crazy price for breakfast (more than the cost of the room) we enquired and it turns out the breakfast is 24 RON (about £5.00) which was much more acceptable! There was plenty of cheese, ham, cereal and bread and omlette cooked to order if you wanted. Sinaia is a slightly strange little place, it seemed to have a lot of huge hotels and a surprising lack of nice places to eat and drink. However, the majority of people that visit are interested in the Bucegi Mountains and simply use the town as a base. It's worth the cable car trip up to the top (2000m) where there are some lovely walks and a nice mountain restaurant. All in all Vila Camelia represents good value for money in Sinaia.
