Owner description: We are not a zoo - but a wild park where our 4 different wolf subspecies live within a 400.000m² big nature reserve. Join us on a guided wolf-tour and find out how wolves really are. Forget myths and rumours and dive into the fascinating life of a highly social, perfect team-worker. Nowhere else can you face unadulterated wolves that close. The most interesting wolf-subspecies and an expert team await you every day.

We enjoyed seeing the wolves at Lobo Park - the trip round was informative and the tour leader very happy to answer questions in Spanish or English. In response to a couple of mentions below about the price, it's worth pointing out that this is a private venture and does not receive funding from government/EU sources.
The park stems from one man's passion to understand more about wolves across the world and of course to conserve them where necessary.
The one area for improvement in my view is that there isn't always an opportunity to get out of the blazing sun at some of the enclosures.

Our kids left as big fans of wolves...

I don't like dogs but I enjoyed this trip. It was very interesting to hear about the different sub species and how the packs at the park were developed. Best bit was hearing the spontaneous howling when we started the tour. Excellent guide Maisy who talked authoritatively and enthusiastically about the park.

A bit off the beaten track in the mountains is this wolf park, but well worth a visit and a great alternative from the beach for the kids (and adults!). We chose to participate in ne of the evening visits at full moon, when you can hear the wolves howling. An evening meal is included in the price, and it was surprisingly tasty. We learned a lot about wolves we did not know before. The guided tours are in Spanish and English, and as the owner is German, he can accommodate for that language, too.

It's great to see wolves in this semi-natural environment, where they can find their own food, but will be helped with extra's if food is scarce.
You can adopt a wolf - which we did - to support this private enterprise to keep the wolves healthy and looked after.
Worth a visit! (www.lobopark.com)

We visited this Site in Summer, not ideal, due to the heat, but still very interesting
We found the staff highly knowledgable ( Macy) and friendly
The animals are kept in what looks their natural environment, which must be very difficult for a private enterprise like this one
Also liked they rescued some other animals
Keep up to the good work!

Thank Javier M
